FFA Wagering Thread: THERE HE IS!@! (1 Viewer)

Ross under 6 -130
He turned on the slider with RISP. Turned it on good. If it weren't for the error that let the Brewers' dude get to third base with no outs this probably hits.
damn oh well, I'll take the push. Went to bed way before this one finished.. It's weird, I dont really watch any of the games on the player props for baseball and it doesn't bother me a bit , but for football I have to watch every second of the game when have a guy going.

What is the lean for tonight? - first CFB game of the year... have to play something on it.. right?

Georgia State is 0-14 SU in every one of their lined games in the database since 2010. They went 7-3 ATS in 2013, but that was against an average line of +22.4 points per game. This will be the first time they have been favored to win a game since god knows when. If you have any idea where they got this line of -6, please let me know. Honestly, what is that from? It must be the generic home field advantage of six points theory? I have no idea. And Sagarin says (with home-field advantage built in) this should be a 1-point spread in favor of the home team. But who knows how accurate he is at this very moment, without the season even underway and with these two bottom-type teams. So it's like, how does anyone even know? But I will tell you one thing.. No way would I lay freaking points on a team that hasn't ever won a game. If this is in HD then okay, I would go underdog.............Just checked the listing and it has a little "HD" on there. So I'm in. How dare them for even lining this game and taking advantage of my feeble willpower. I grabbed ACU ATS and ML just out of spite for the line.

First night of Capstone class last night and I started showing this dude all these pics of the girls and whores I met over the break, and then he starts asking me if I know anything about the Protestant Reformation and how he hopes that his girlfriend's father allows him to marry her since she's Catholic and he is Protestant. Gross, bro.

What are the kids using in class these days for notes. When I graduated school laptops were just popping up in classrooms....do you walk into a class and everyone has a laptop? tablets? their phones? pen and paper?

Just curious.

Technology is out of control. Last night he asked us to get our phones out and search for the investment/return of GE Ecomagination. I just had to sit there like a jackass. It was the first time for me that an instructor just assumed everyone had fingertip access to the web. I just finalized a purchase on Amazon for a tablet that was $109. I got all my textbooks through torrent sites this semester. Usually for me it is just a spiral notebook and a mechanical pencil plus whatever textbook is needed.

I will trip you out when I say this, but some dude was actually using his laptop last night to help a girl skype into the classroom from the Phillipenes. She was participating in class and everything. Girl was in the Phillipenes - it was 7AM there - and actively asking/answering questions through this dude's PC speakers through Skype. It was a trip. Skype had a little bit of an echo but that was the only issue.

Luckily, teachers are still old school enough to scold you if your phone rings. Or else that would probably also be out of control. I'm looking forward to having all my textbooks all on one device though. And my buddy is shipping me his used iPhone 5. Occasionally there will be some chick that is sitting there clicking away on a laptop typing every single word the teacher says, but that's about as bad as it ever gets.

Who likes free money?

For those of you who play the free Thursday deposit bets at SB, here’s a step by step on how to guarantee yourself b/w $1010-1031 with one game risk (through hedging). The exact $s may be off by a few bucks here or there due to line prices, but concepts are still the same.

What you’ll need

· You’re going to need at least $2500 in your account to apply to these hedges

· 3 games to bet on where you know each game will be complete before the next one begins [for this example, I’ll just call them (1) Thursday over (2) Friday over (3) Saturday over]. If you’re going for the $1000 one-game risk, you’re going to want the first game to be the strongest play (in a perfect world). Assume all bets are -110

Bet #1 (The Free Bet)

· Parlay your $500 free bet on Thursday over/Friday over/Saturday over

· Pays out $3000

Bet #2 (Only place the bet if Thursday over hits)

· Parlay $408 (from your balance) on Friday under/Saturday under

· Pays out $1060

Bet #3 (Only place the bet if Thursday & Friday over hits (i.e. First leg of Bet #2 loses)

· Bet $1560 (from your balance) on Saturday Under

· Pays out $1418

Bet #4 (Only place the bet if Thursday bet is now dead

· Bet $550 (from your balance) on Saturday over

· Pays out $500

You don’t lose any money in this scenario b/c your initial bet was a Free Bet. Here’s how the rest of the math shakes out:

· Bet #1 wins: Payout = $1031 ($3000-$408-$1560)

· Bet #2 wins: Payout = $500 ($1060-$550)

· Bet #3 wins: Payout = $1010 ($1418 - $408)

· Bet #4 wins: Payout = $500 (no additional hedges needed)

I think i'm going to drop one in tomorrow, how can I get the bonus code at SB?
I usually check twitter in the morning. Sometimes it pops up when I log into SB

Magic football question...12 teams no PPR, 1 flex Keeper league I came in with Lacey , Ball and Alshon Jeffery and had 1.01 overall as well as 1.08

Took forte 1.01

Was hoping Brees would slide to 1.08 but no dice

Best by far on my board was Marshall or Gronk (or Julius Thomas but I'm a sucker for Gronk)

Your move?

Marshall.

I wouldn't touch Gronk
