91% confidence that New Orleans Pelicans will go to 4.0 link
Pelicans 160

Pelicans +4½ -110

*Avoiding the total since 60% at SBR and 80% at SI are on the over. The feel I get is that the Pels hit their team total over but the Rockets come up short.

While the NBA considers ways to cut down on the number of back-to-backs, they might want to consider the Rockets schedule this week for motivation. After sitting around for three days, they not only have to play a back-to-back, they play it after a day-break arrival in Houston. They were scheduled to land at 4:30 a.m., but that was before playing for nearly three hours in a game stretched by 71 free throws, overtime and the long ESPN time outs. link

x.84% of the time the number lands on 38. Can you check your handy dandy almanac to tell me what x equals before giving her the saughsage, chain?

Wanna know if I need to buy the .5.

Teased Jax and the OVER

Eta: figure they are both so bad that we have to have some short field opps.

Watching this NFL game rooting for the over is worse than watching lumpys paint dry. wish the damn Rockets/Pelicans game was on TV.

I am the polar opposite. I have the Rockets game and I'd rather watch football.
This game is actually pretty entertaining. At least it's competitive which hasn't been the norm on Thursday night IIRC.
It'd be more entertaining if they scored some touchdowns

saw calls another underdog S/U and ATS winner.
Thanks Nugs and TF. Not to overkill it, but here is a better, less convoluted picture of what I was trying to say this morning: Since Apr 06, 1998, it's "a division game where your opponent played in Denver last night and you had a day off yesterday," and is now 18-2 (.900) SU and 16-4 (.800) ATS link. Filtered by underdog: 7-0 SU and ATS with an O/U of 6-1 after the under hit tonight link. That is a top-10 query ever. And it comes around again three more times this season on March 2nd and 28th, and April 5th. So we can do it again three times.
