FFPC dynasty and redraft thread (5 Viewers)

Calling out for anyone that wants to jump in a $35 SuperFlex BB Tourney
So I ended up jumping in this one which makes it just the second SF I've done, in like ever.

SF is definitely a difference experience and I might not have the required type of draft strategy figured out but I must admit it's kind of refreshingly new and in particular the first few rounds and different ways you can build your team feels almost liberating vs more of the cookie cutter standard leagues.

Anyway here was my first ever SF team, SF related criticism welcome:

Josh Allen, Bryce Young, Shough/Rattler
Achane, Irving, Harvey/Dobbins, Braelon Allen, Jerome Ford
Tyreek, Marvin Jr, Flowers, Addison, Kyle Williams, Wicks
Kincaid, Mason Taylor, Juwan J, Taysom Hill
Good team. Tyreek is the ultimate win now asset so if you aren't findind sucess right away you might want to move him quick but overall it seems like a team that could contend.

Any SF team with Josh Allen is a team that must be contended with. I wouldn't call an Allen team a contender in a vacuum, but an out to get past nonetheless.

My preference would be to plant a flag with Shough/Rattler and save the other spot for another skill position, or a different team's 4th QB (if even available I wouldn't be surprised if Rattler was your 20th pick and the board looked like crap).

Looks like you got really good value on your first several picks. To snag Achane, Irving, Tyreek, Marvin Jr along with Josh Allen for what I presume is the first five rounds is darn good. Then Young and Flowers and Harvey I guess.

It sure is hard to hit every checkbox in SF drafts and so it looks to me like TE was the one that you chose to wait, and I'm pretty big on Taylor, I think Kincaid certainly can have a bounceback, and Juwan and Taysom will have their weeks in best ball. It would be the weakest position group but it's also the weakest in fantasy in general so if you're going to punt a position... anyway yeah I like it good draft.

it is a best ball redraft team. there is zero management once the draft is over. It is Tyreek or bust.

The $5 FFPC Best Ball Slim league that 10 of us SharkPoolers joined just finished. Here’s my roster from the 11 slot:

  1. Amon-Ra WR
  2. Derrick Henry RB
  3. JSN WR
  4. Kamara RB
  5. Aaron Jones RB
  6. DK Metcalk WR
  7. Nix QB
  8. Kraft TE
  9. Jake Ferguson TE
  10. T Etienne RB
  11. JJ McCarthy QB
  12. Thielen WR
  13. K Miller RB
  14. Stafford QB
  15. Mims WR
  16. Okonkwo TE
  17. K Hunt RB
  18. Austin WR
  19. Mostert RB
  20. McCloud WR
ETA: very happy with my overall approach: alternating RB and WRs the first 6 rounds and kinda waiting on QB and TE, but then hit those positions to get 3 of each between rounds 7 and 16. Then a bunch of RB and WRs dart throws to finish up. Not sure why I picked Mostert since he’s 99 years old. ;)

$5 FBG best ball team - draft board

Drafted from the 7 slot...
Mayfield, Goff
Achane, Mixon, Mason, Dobbins, Chubb, Corum
Lamb, Evans, Godwin, Addison, Pittman, McMillan, Pierce, Iosivas, Lockett
Kittle, Ertz, Schultz

Didn't plan on stacking Tampa, kind of built itself after Evans.
I thought I was out on Mixon, but seemed like the best available in the 5th. Prioritized Chubb later.
Would have liked a 3rd QB, but didn't make enough of an effort to do so.

Did my last Gorilla last night for awhile, from the 8:

Fields
Achane, Henderson, K Johnson, B Robinson, B Allen, Brooks, Tucker
Nabers, JSN, Jamo, K Coleman, Harris, Ayomanor
Andrews, Strange, T Ferguson, Arroyo

Since you only have one QB I assume Gorilla leagues have waivers or trades?
They do have waivers but no trades, and in my experience it is never a problem to find a good streaming option. Tua, B Young, Ward, Wilson, Arich & Jones, Penix, Darnold are available right now and some of the other owners that are rostering two of them will find it is hard to do so.
