Final Drafts This Weekend (1 Viewer)

I know some of you / us have drafts on Saturday, so........

Who outplayed their ADP enough to move up significantly?

Is Peyton climbing? Wayne? Harrison? Addai?

WHat about the other way - Drew Brees, Bush and Deuce falling? Colston?

Eric Johnson and Indy D on the radar now?

Addai falling!? I wouldn't expect it.

You might be able to get Brees (and the other Saints) at a discount though. They will rebound so I'd leave them where they were.

Addai won't fall (nor should he). Bush won't fall, he's got too much potential to explode in games.

Colston will be available a bit lower than usual, though.

if bush dosn't fall, it's because you'll always have someone drafting with their heart, and not their head. or, you have people that draft the hype. you can't win a draft without someone else losing it.

I'd say Addai moves up in that tier of RB's after the top 2 guys go. What have you done for me lately.

I don't think I could pick him above Parker or LJ but some one may now.

I would love to get Brees at a "discount" if you are drafting this weekend...

His performance was so putrid that people may shy away or he might go as QB6 instead of QB2...

But the thing is, you won't start him this week, so you miss out on what will almost undoubtedly be his worst game of the year...

i would look for drafting Brees if he represents value and then piking up another QB whoo is lower ranked but has a good matchup this week

You can get a solid team from the 1/2 turn with Harrison/Wayne and then Cadillac/Bulger and then top two RBs at 5/6 which could be Ahman Green/Jamal Lewis. You can get LenDale White and Warrick Dunn at 8/9.

Grabbing two WRs when drafting from the first round turn is not bad at all if you don't mind biting your finger nails that they will play in week 16. I got them both and am smiling now anyways and it is nice to sleep easy every sunday without too much worry. I play in PPR leagues by the way.

Exactly. Teams like this look great in the regular season, then one bad matchup or division locked up and the playoffs are toast.

Eric Johnson and Indy D on the radar now?
You gotta be kidding. In drafts this weekend I wouldn't expect Eric Johnson to drop past #10 TE. You underestimate the % of knee-jerk reactionaries in FF. He'll be drafted as somebodies #1 TE in nearly every league with that performance fresh in their memory and visions of "Brees to Gates" dancing in their heads.

ahman green has been going in the 4th and lewis in the 5th in most drafts i've been in. at the 5/6 turn you'd be looking at RBs like DeShaun Foster/DeAngelo Williams, Chester Taylor, Lamont Jordan, Fred Taylor, Brandon Jackson/Vernand Morency. nothing to hang your hat on. but hey, we don't all draft with people who know what they're doing, so feel free to take the chance.

We drafted last week and he's my #1. If he stays healthy the guy is going to get chances to have nice weeks.LAUNCH

Tangental topic --- but people really hold drafts after the season starts?

Could someone explain this to me? Could nobody get together last weekend? Or even Wednesday night? Does the guy who drafts Peyton Manning get his points retroactively for this week?

Watch Wayne become #1 WR in drafts after that game.... Clark will be bump up over some TEs; so will Johnson...

Brees and Duece will slip a little... I see Henderson falling rounds now (he was becoming overvalued in the last couple of drafts I did).

If anyone was considering Addai over Gore or LJ... last night might have pushed them over the edge. Bush and Colston will stay the same ADP (Bush may slip a little, if someone had slump concerns)

IDP wise

Keiaho will go way up in IDP drafts; Marlin Jackson is on people's radars; so is Fujita (8 solos last night)

Some league give you pts for the Thursday game... some leagues start week 2.
