Finley Injury: Who gets the biggest boost? (2 Viewers)

Id guess Driver and from Rotoworld's report of a coaches meeting to get Jennings more involved...bump him.

Id say we see a lot of spread, quick throws coming soon. 3-4 WR sets...get the ball out quick to protect Rodgers.

best suggestion would be to go grab quarless off waivers. if he can mature a little and get used to the speed of the game over the next few weeks, he may be able to put up some good stats. hes a talented receiver with good athleticism.

as far as WRs go, production will continue to fluctuate unpredictably as long as teams play 2 deep. no bumps here

I mean, the logical answer is Andrew Quarless. He goes from a nobody to at least a bye week fill in (In that offense, the TEs get a ton of red zone looks, so if you have no one else on your waiver wire, hes worth a shot)

Humanity in general. Now that he has a few weeks off from football, he can focus more of his time running the universe.

Actaully I think Jennings gets a boost in targets, but also in coverage. James Jones is my answer.

I'd love to see Jennings bumped but are opposing teams going to stop playing cover-2 or is the offensive line going to give Rodgers more time to hit Jennings?

My reasoning for Driver is this...

Look at last year prior to Finley blowing up...look at DD's #s.

Then look after.

I think he once again becomes Rodgers go to guy...

Greg Jennings will have the biggest increase in production only because he has been so mediocre. The emergence of Finley explains why. Now with Finley (possibly) out for the year this was announced last night. What timing. For redrafts 2011 keep in mind that when Finley comes back healthy Jennings is not a top 10 WR. He could reach that in 2010 with Finley out of the picture.

"Packers coaches met Monday specifically to come up with a game-plan to get Greg Jennings more involved in the offense.

Since his five-catch, 82-yard performance in Week 1, Jennings has been held under four receptions and 40 yards every game. Jennings isn't injured, and his three touchdowns suggest there's nothing wrong with his playmaking ability. With the coaching staff making Jennings a point of emphasis this week, it's a good time to buy low in fantasy leagues."

noone is going to stop playing cover 2 until they show some evidence of a running game. packers OL hasnt been bad and bulaga is an upgrade if he stays in, but taking away the downfield threat takes a lot of bite out of the GB offense.

Quarless will be in there a week or two.

Donald Lee will get the biggest bump.

He'll be the starter and hasn't had atrocious numbers over the years

If Rodgers QB's this week and Quarless does well, he could jump ahead of Lee on the depth chart.

if he doesn't than lee's value jumps through the roof.I'd be surprised in an unheralded rookie could out-play an 8 year vet long term, especially in a position where blocking is a very important part of the job

I would agree with this and Driver will benefit the most in PPR out of the slot. Quarless/Crabtree will probably both see a lot of time.

Lee will miss at least this week and maybe two. Quarless will take this and run with it - book it.

I think this raises the importance of the Packers acquiring an upgrade at RB.

McGahee seems to be the best 'available' (not sure if he really is available) RB for them to target.

This is what I'm wondering. I ran into an article from late September that indicated the Packers weren't happy with Lee and that Quarless might pass him. Could be more than just a two-week fill-in.

from Rotoworld:

Donald Lee (chest) made a surprising return to a limited practice Thursday.

Lee was originally expected to miss at least two weeks, so the injury must have turned out to be minor. If he ends up playing this week, it makes Andrew Quarless a less desirable fantasy option. It's worth noting, though, that Quarless was threatening to bypass Lee before Jermichael Finley went down.

James Jones will get more targets. He is a talented player, and could become a solid 4th or 5th WR as a result of the Finley injury. Go get him if he's available on your WW.

Jennings will still draw the top corner, so I don't think he gets a bump in production.

Driver should get alot more targets running the shorter routes, and Rogers seems to trust him.

Bump Driver and Jones.

Downgrade Rogers slightly.
