Knee Injury Questionable return

and then Lee's TD jump in the stands land him out with a shoulder injury

Nothing new here, but from another source.

Seifert ESPN.com's Kevin Seifert writes about all things NFC North in his division blog.

LANDOVER, Md. -- Packers tight end Jermichael Finley has been carted off the field after Green Bay's second offensive play against the Redskins.

It wasn't immediately clear what Finley's injury was or how it happened. He did try to make a tackle on the play, when Redskins safety Kareem Moore picked up a fumble and returned it.

Finley was attended to on the field, then driven away on a cart. He entered Sunday leading NFC tight ends with 301 yards receiving.

Two plays later, Packers defensive lineman Ryan Pickett stayed down briefly. He walked off the field with help.

@CourtFinley88: Just got off the phone w J.... He will be back for the Pack soon. Thanks so much u guys for the prayers

I could care less if he comes back today as long as he is not out for season which is what I worry about when I see non contact knee injuries.

For the first time this season, don't bump Finley.
He's getting a bionic knee put in and will be back after halftime. Bump Finley.
Really stale. Fried, actually. Yeah, I own JMF.
;) Seriously can we drop this tired schtick?
Right. It's all fine and good when he's healty and otherworldly, but now... let's get rid of it. How appropriate.
Because it is making fun of a potentially serious injury, which is classless.

New update on Roto:

Jermichael Finley left Sunday's game with a right knee sprain, according to beat writer Greg Bedard.

This doesn't give us much to go on. Players diagnosed with knee sprains initially can sometimes be slapped with ligament tears later on. The Packers still haven't said if Finley will return to the game, but it's not looking good. For what it's worth, Finley's wife says that Jermichael "will be back for the Pack soon." We'll see what the further testing reveals.

Wrong. I wrote my reply in jest. You on the other hand only care cuz he's on your fantasy team... which is classless.

I remember when Terrell Davis tore up his knee making a tackle on an INT return. And he was never the same.

And Finley is no Terrell Davis.

McCarthy clarified that Finley's injury is not a knee sprain, as originally reported. It's a displaced hamstring ligament -- a rare injury for which we don't know a rough timetable. The Packers' bye isn't until Week 10, so they don't have the option of working around an off week to nurse Finley and Matthews back to health. Finley didn't have a catch Sunday before going down.

I just hit WebMD for this and nothing came up except knee ligament issues.

McCarthy really hasn't clarified anything with that comment, as there isn't any such thing as a hamstring ligament.

Gotta be talking about a hamstring tendon

That's has to be it, but not sure what he means by displaced.
