got upgraded comcast biz in my home office this spring and have measured 90/40 consistently since then. Problem i'm running into is that most sites arent serving this speed.
Not sure of the exact technical reasons, all i can say for certain is that i havent seen a drastic improvement in movie watching, download speeds, streaming, etc

Wasn't until today that it kicked in -- I did a live chat with Verizon tech support last night, we rebooted some things, and this morning I changed some settings on my wireless router and it's now working.
Awesome. Getting over 80MB down; can't seem to measure upload speed because speedtest registers an error every time I do the upload portion.
Internet so fast, the internet can't measure it.

Another question with Quantum. Seems if you upgrade to quantum you can watch DVR'd shows from a phone or tablet. Anyone doing this? I'm wondering if you have a show recorded in HD can you watch it on a regular tablet? Do you have to have an HD tablet - does that work? Or would you have to record the show in SD?

I have 75/75 that I got part of a promo a year ago. I thought I would be receiving the new router, but then they claimed I wouldn't get it because the old modem/router was good enough to do 75/75. I should have gotten that in writing, as I searched online and other people were victims of this vz bait & switch.
Frontier recently purchased Verizon FiOS in my area, and had some issues. I just called them yesterday and said I was effected by the outage, and asked if they were giving anything to customers. They gave me a $25 credit. So for new frontier customers, complain & you get $25.

Was chatting with their customer service and said I want internet speed upgrade without paying more. Their "exciting" offer was an upgrade to 50mbps for $60/month extra. #### that noise. Spectrum is offering 100mbs for $79.99/mo in their triple play or if I was a new Fios customer I can get the 1gig for $79.99/mo. How do these companies treat their existing customers like ####. Gonna talk to the wife and consider switching to Spectrum (no Im not interested in cutting the cord yet).

Shark move here is to "move out" and cancel the FIOS service, with your "sister" (the wife) moving in the next day to get the promo rate. Warning from experience: PITA if you are doing the and have cable cards, but make sure you get a truck roll and if you win the lottery and have a good tech, it should only kill the entire day. And you're going to need multiple calls to get the cards to work properly on the premium channels if the tech leaves without pairing them properly.
Which reminds me...time to move out again myself...

My wife (our service is in her name) has been a Comcast customer for 25 yrs. I got a mailer a few months ago for cable and internet for about half of what we pay now for a 2 yr deal. I called, it's only for new customers.
