Firefox Update (1 Viewer)

New update makes Firefox relevant again.  In my limited testing I see Firefox using more memory vs chrome on two open tabs, but it is fast.

Doubling its speed makes Firefox as fast as Chrome, while the fact Firefox Quantum uses less memory addresses one of the biggest complaints internet users have with Chrome.

Yeah, Quantum is pretty fast. I like it.

My only beef so far is that My Morning Coffee isn't compatible with it yet. Anyone know of an alternative?

Too bad the update negates tab mix plus & now every time I open a new tab the cursor goes to the url bar instead of the Google search bar

Incompatibility of the Findbar Tweaks add-in is a minor problem.  The default findbar location on the bottom makes no sense to me; both Chrome and IE have their's on the top.

had given up on firefox about a month ago, but just got the quantum (thanks for the thread, didn't know it was out) and it's definitely much much faster. the espn score pages and most other sites running heavy flash, for example, always hung and pretty much rendered the browser unusable. No such problem so far with this new browser. i don't use any addons though, sounds like some of u are having issues with those.
