First Round Superflex (1 Viewer)

1 point ppr superflex.  Passing TDs worth 4.  Required to start one running back and three receivers.

I'm playing in my first ever Superflex league this year and am wondering what the consensus is on the boards here.  I've run several mocks with the Draft Dominator and the top three players on the board when I pick at 5 seem to be Mahomes, Hopkins, and D Johnson.

I'm not convinced this will be the case, but I want to be prepared ahead of time in case it does play out.

Which position do you go with?  Top QB, Top WR, or Best available running back?  Am I crazy to be leaning towards Mahomes?

I don't play in a lot of Superflex but, a bit dependent on the rest of your lineup considerations, not only are you not crazy to go with Mahommes, it seems to be the correct pick. I'm just not sure I see the reasons why he should not be the QB1 this year and lap the rest of the field.  He has most of the same pieces as last year but not as much talent at RB and with a healthy Watkins, more talent at receiver.  Couple that with an additional year of experience and I'd grab Mahommes.

It depends on your league mates.  I have been in Superflex where the league goes QB crazy and many teams have 2 QB's in the first three rounds and other's where it is more traditional and they wait.  I think you won't go wrong with taking Mahomes in that spot but I don't think you will be hurt taking someone else either.  Some of it also depends on how many teams in your league as well.
