Personally I think you did the right thing. Lopsided? Not entirely. I personally would rather have LJ than Gore, but it's not a one-sided deal (like say Burleson for Torry Holt straight up). Not even close to being enough to veto. Vetos should very rarely, if ever, used. That is, if the Commish is the one looked upon to do so. Otherwise, I would agree that it should be 75% of owners voting AGAINST a trade before it can be vetoed, if the rules say it can be done.Now the next issue you have to tackle, is the owner "not caring." You don't want that in your league, or you're going to be faced with this again somewhere down the line. You need to talk with him and see what's going on. Why doesn't he care? Explain to him that the league needs active owners, and ones that enjoy it. If he can't do both, then maybe suggest that he gracefully step aside for someone else...I decided to allow the trade. It's not against any rules, and LJ's looking like something of a bust this year. He and Gore could end up performing relatively comprably. Thanks for the advice.
