Fitzgerald owners (1 Viewer)

you trading him and if so what are you getting for him. Are you holding onto him due to his low value? I just dont know what to do with this guy. I for one kind of belive in his upside. I just think they might have to throw the ball 40+ times a game and will just force the ball his way. Right now I think I have a deal in place with me giving up Fitz and TO for Hakeem Nicks but im hesitant to pull this trigger for some reason. I'm not asking for advice either im just wondering what all Fitz owners are doing.

I am holding. I have him in an 8-team, PPR league. Fortunately, the rest of my team is ridiculously good, so I can afford Fitz being just okay right now.

I have him in a 12 team PPR and as of now, i am holding him. I just traded for Austin, so I think I'll be playing Austin and Harvin this week and keeping Fitz on the bench

holding him - he's my WR2 behind Calvin Johnson and while he's not setting the world on fire, he's not killing my team either. I don't think there's any way I could get good value for him in a trade, and he's been consistently scoring 9-11 ppg so far - even with his QB situation, I feel confident that he's going to put up some better numbers as the year goes on. He's still one of the most physically gifted WRs in the league, and he's starting to get back to full health, which can only help his production. He's also one of Arizona's best offensive weapons and has been getting plenty of targets, so I have to think that will eventually translate to better PPG.

I'm looking at one of my league mates roster and laughing at him...thankful I took Roddy White instead of him.

You have to hold him. You won't even close to "Fair Value" if you sell him now. If you do want to move him, you have to wait for him to blow up for a week or two. But even that is dangerous, as he could really bounce back from this. He is probably a top 3 talent at his position in the league, and he's finally getting close to 100% with the knee.

So unless there's a cardinals homer in your league, you may be out of luck.

I'm waiting to see what he does with Hall at QB. I'm hoping the kid just uses him as a security blanket and forces him the ball, to the detriment of the Cardinals, but benefit of Fitz owners.

SELL !....make that SOLD, last week.

Straight up for Macklin but it's a Contract League where Fitz has none and Mac has one (3 years.)

LOL a 8 team league? I can't even respond to this rediculas statement. So on the issue of what to do with Fitz, I drafted him in the 3rd round in a 12 team PPR and is a solid #2 with upside. He is in my lineup every week.

Don't you know? You shouldn't even bother playing fantasy football unless you're in a 10 team league or above. :lmao:

I'm in a 14 team league, that's right  . I have Fitz, Marshall, Owens, and Mason but also have Turner, Hightower, and Barber. Thinking of possibly entertaining offers for a RB. I would hate to miss Fitz's explosion...if it happens. Hall is a rookie, they have no real working relationship, it will take time, all the flags are there...right??

I have him in a 10 team PPR as my #2 WR. I'll entertain offers (almost traded him straight up for R.Matthews until the owner realized Hall was now starting & backed out.)

Here's how I'm looking at it: he's got a shaky QB situation right now & isn't guaranteed the success like in past years, but as the games get outta hand, SOMEONE in Arizona has gotta catch passes. He's too good not to get his fair share of looks, but isn't gonna put up #1 numbers consistently any time soon.

:jawdrop: I think it'll get worse before it gets better with the QB change and Breaston/Doucet dinged up, but I'll take a solid 10 pts a week until things (hopefully) turn around. He is tied for 3rd in the league with brandon Marshall for most targets (46), so its not like they're not trying to get him the ball

HOLD.

His value is low, so I'm holding. He's getting lots of looks, hoping Hall can connect. I've seen him play and he's physically fine. so far has seen constant double team and Osimghua (I watched him cover Fitz and it was one of the most impressive athletic displays I've seen live). He'll be okay, and i think really good late in the year. doesn't make sense to trade.

that you, andre?
Child, please. :excited:
Enjoy the veal
Larry has been playing with two rookie WRs and Derek Anderson. He is pretty much guaranteed to start putting up better numbers with Hall and even more so when Breaston and Doucet are back

Hes a Free Agent now, letting him go so i'm H Nicks, Clayton, D Driver
you dropped him? :goodposting:
Yea man, he hasn't gotten over 10pts yet, but he actually is still available since its only a 6 team league and I don'tthink the others will pick him up as they are fair happy with their WRs.So if i change my mind I can get him back.Who of the three (Hakeem Nicks, Mark Clayton, Donald Driver) would you replace with fitz?

WTF? Have you been watching football for more than a month? FYI, it starts with an "A." Go from there.

What starts with an "A"?

I'm not even sure I'll start him this weekend.

Austin/Harvin/DeSean/Cribbs/Driver/Manningham/TO/Fitz? We start 5 and he's arguably my worst option. On one hand, I look at his talent and think there's no way I can bench him. OTOH, I look at what he's done thus far (okay, but nothing special), and his new qb, and I think how can ANYONE roll him out there if they have better options?

I think most owners are stuck holding him unless you get a great offer (like the above poster who moved him for Wayne).

Hehe, in response to the 8-team league snickers, normally I wouldn't play in an 8-team league, but it is a family league just for fun, and we couldn't get a 9th or 10th person despite trying like hell, so we went with 8 again.

I am in a 2 team league... whats wrong with 8?

Someone offered me Bradshaw straight up for Fitz - what would you do - its a 0.5ppr.

Fitz scares me a little both ways - in one sense I can see him being very pedestrian the rest of the way like 6/ 70 type weeks with the odd bad game and odd good game.

However on the other hand he is just so good and Max Hall looked his way often against NO that he could potentially finish the season in the top10.

Fitz right now is my #3WR behind Austin and Wayne but I don't see how I at least entertain the opportunity since Bradshaw has potential to also finish top10.

He's still getting lots and lots of targets. His team will likely have to pass more than they would like. He's still one of the most talented wr's in the game.

Not answering your WSID question in the SP but I like Fitz moving forward. A lot.

I traded Fitz/Manningham/Portis/Moreno for Rice/Austin after week 3. I fed into the fact that Rice hadn't done anything for 3 games and was hurt.... Fitz and Manningham were at least consistant... and Austin had just had his only bad game of the year. It also didn't hurt that the guy was a Ryan Grant owner.

Where do you see Fitz finishing the year?Updated projections?I see something around 80/1100/8 as his ceiling70/950/6 as his floor.

Prior to this week I was of the opinion that Fitz is a stud and I would start him no matter what when he's healthy. Now I don't know what to think. I knew his QB situation would be shaky, but I didn't imagine it would be this utterly awful. Might be time to start thinking of Fitzy as a matchup only guy going forward.

Done - he will never sniff my lineup again.

Zona's QB situation is a hot mess. I'm thinking of dropping him for Big Mike Williams or Davone Bess in a non ppr....I have been starting him as my WR#3 though .....

What RB can you hope for in a touchdown non ppr league?

One of my teams is dying because of him and DeAngelo Williams. At this point, I've solidified the RB issues and now at WR (in a PPR) I have Fitz, Bowe, Holmes, Garcon, Roy Williams and Britt. If Britt maintains the consistency and Holmes becomes solid after the bye, I have to put Fitz 5th on my chart. I would trade him but his value is basically worthless I'd have to find someone blinded by the name and no one in my league is. Bowe, Garcon and Britt are my starters right now and Fitz is no better than a fill in if and only if Holmes doesn't do much.

While a lot of targets is great, unfortunately those passes are nowhere near him. His situation can only getter better though.
