Fluke Or For Real (1 Viewer)

Alright gentlemen, I need help deciding who to pick up from my IDP free agent pool, hopefully a player that will stay on my roster the rest of the year and help lead me to victory!

I currently have Josh Wilson (week 7 bye) and London Fletcher (week 8 bye) on my team, both of whom had very good games for me last week. I’ve learned that Fletcher can be very up and down from week to week, so I’m looking to add one or two IDPs to fill out my roster.

We only start two IDPs and they can be from any position, my scoring system is below.

Tackle Solo 2

Tackle Assist 1

Sack 8

Interception 6

Fumble Force 4

Fumble Recovery 6

Defensive Touchdown 6

Safety 6

Pass Defended 4

Block Kick 6

We also get 1 point per 20 return yards

Here are the players I’m looking at adding, but trying to decide if last week was a fluke for them or not.

Stephen Cooper, LB – SD (week 5 bye)

Anthony Henry, CB – DET (week 7 bye)

Thomas Davis, LB – CAR (week 4 bye)

James Laurinaitis, LB – STL (week 9 bye)

Oshiomogho Atogwe, S – STL (week 9 bye)

Curtis Lofton, LB – ATL (week 4 bye)

2 IDP, from any position?

Cooper, Lofton or Atogwe.

Go with Linebackers first, then Strong Safety next if the best Linebackers are gone.

I'd probably go with Atogwe, he's the #1 fantasy scoring dback in football in non-return leagues of course... although linebackers tend to be more favorable due to consistency in tackles, I think Atogwe is guaranteed a spot in the top 20-25 scoring so long as he's healthy all season long... just my take.

For me this guy tops that list

James Laurinaitis, LB – STL (week 9 bye)

He is a monster and will see the field quite a bit with that terrible ST. Louis offense

DOH! I didn't see Laurinaitis on the list of free agents. My revised opinion:

1. Laurinaitis

2. Lofton

3. Cooper

4. Atogwe

5. Davis

Because the Rams are so bad, they'll be behind in the second half of most games. At that point, the other teams will be going with the run (for the most part). This will lead to lots and lots of tackles for Laurinaitis.

Thanks everyone. i picked up Laurinaitis and Cooper. I'm trying to figure out who i can drop to add another player, most likely Lofton.
