Hi everyone,
George del Prado from FantasyAuctioneer here. Thanks for checking out FBG's mock site, which we are proud to power. Here are a few things to note:
1. Thanks for the feedback on showing slots available. We used to have that, but removed it for some reason. We will add it back.
2. Registration is only a one-time thing, as long as you keep the "Remember Me" checkbox checked. Moving from the FBG site to the mock site will be seamless from then on (like this message board).
3. You can create a free public mock (auction or snake draft) whenever you want. Almost all of the auctions and drafts on our mock board are actually user-created. As the season gets closer and our traffic starts spiking, there will be a lot more mocks available (you won't have to wait four hours for the next one) and mocks will obviously fill up more quickly. Regardless, we'll make more of a concerted effort to post mocks of our own so that there are more available now.
4. Under the "Draft Type" column, you will see whether a mock is a snake draft or auction.
5. There are a few Firefox users out there who are having some problems right now. We believe it's a compatibility issue with the latest version of Sun's JVM (v. 6.0). Most Firefox users are having no problems, which makes the bug a little trickier to fix. We're working on it now and expect to fix it later in the week. For now, if you're having problems with FF, please try IE.
6. It's true that if you go to the FBG mock site and then to FantasyAuctioneer.com afterwards with the same browser, FBG's reskinned version will appear. If you close and reopen, our original skin will appear. You've lifted the curtain a bit, but that's a side effect of how we're powering the mock site. We will look into changing this because I realize it can be confusing. Also, please note that usernames and passwords are separate in their mock site and ours.
If you have any more feedback or questions, please feel free to email support@fantasyauctioneer.com. We'll do our best to monitor questions on this forum as well. Thanks!
