Quick question, is this app good for only 2014, or will it allow for updates with next year's rankings? I'm a subscriber so I am not sure I feel like paying extra every year since I already get DD for my laptop. If I didn't have to "buy" it every year like most apps, I would probably get it.

It is sold every year.

David, the magazine was marketed as being better than a standard print magazine because the content will be updated regularly. The new articles being added is good and the content itself is great, but it's still incomplete. Reading the magazine today, there are still a lot of 'No comment yet' for most of the staff's player comments. And many of them still have comments like 'When training camp starts' or 'will be suspended' (for Ray Rice). When will the rankings in the magazine be completed/updated? How often can I expect updates? When a staff member ranks someone relatively low, I want to know why. These are the comments I want to see most as they provide a new perspective on the player. Things change in training camp, it would be great seeing how staff rankings change because of camp events and news (did Fred Jackson's extension affect his ranking, will Marshawn Lynch's (now ended) holdout open the door for a RBBC in Seattle?) ranking should fluctuate and your magazine should reflect that or else it's not much better than a regular magazine.

Thanks and that's too bad. Since I have it on my laptop, I won't get it.Just a suggestion, I would consider paying the extra $5 one time if as a subscriber the data updates were free while I remained a subscriber. I won't pay an extra $5 each year when I have it for my laptop. I thought it would be nice to just bring my iPad to the drafts.

Is the magazine available on the web as well? Meaning, can it be viewed on a laptop as well or is it just available through the app stores and viewable on tablets and smart phones?

Prob a dumb question, but is the draft app setup so that if you are drafting from same iphone you can easily bounce back and forth between the Fbg draft app and your league sites live draft?

I think technically you can do this sure, but that's likely a lot to manage from a phone. Next year we do intend to synch with the popular league management sites (Yahoo, ESPN, NFL, FFPC, MFL, etc) so you can just draft through the Dom and it will push your pick to the correct platform (like ESPN) and get the other drafts picks back as well.

Is there a difference between DD for Mobile and the DD App for PC?
There are small differences because of the mobile and swiping environment. But we have tried our best to get most everything from the Dominator (PC) into the tablet/phone app. On the PC version you can alter the underlying data (like projections). On the mobile one, you can slide a player to change his ranking (data is hidden). The mobile dom also has the projection dominator sliders built right in. Stuff like that. Mosty of the differences are due to database/file storage and screen size of mobile devices.

All of the articles in the magazine are available to subscribers. Not all preseason subscriber content appears in the magazine though. All of the tools like depth charts, rankings, etc appear in both places.

Another question David, can you use the mobile app offline?
Yes, both apps work offline. The magazine app will download content when connected to the internet so it remains viewable when you're not. The mobile draft dominator will update projections and rankings whenever you have an internet connection available, but works fine without one.

Very cool! Will there be a chance to upload keepers via MFL next year? That is the only downfall I have seen to the app so far is that loading huge amounts of keepers takes forever.

YES! YES! YES!

is there a way to be able to print out the list instead of doing a live draft. id rather have printed out sheets and cross off the names myself then click click click .. i like that i can read up on the players up to date... is there a file in the android system that i can just edit and print for whatever list is currently updated? i was kinda hoping thats what it was when i baught it.
