That was some of the worst commentating I'd ever heard in my entire life. And I've watched a lot of football. Randy Cross mentioned during the game, the Panther's still had a chance to get to the playoffs and make a run at the Super Bow?! The Steelers then politely punked the Panthers by 35+ But the funniest part of the broadcast was in the third quarter when Weinke threw a pass to #18 Drew Carter and **** Enberg says "and the catch is made by Keyshawn Foster!!" :football:

It was at that time, I changed the channel to another game. :football:

As I pointed out in the game thread, it was particularly funny considering that not only was the player involved was neither Keyshawn nor Foster, but he didn't catch it either.

AFC commentators covering a team they no nothing about.

However, they are professionals. It's truly a disgraceful performance on the part of CBS.

**** Enberg doesn't bother me, but Randy Cross has a special place in my heart, mainly the part where I wish people would contract the plague.

I was watching the NYJ/MIN game on Sunday while playing my AirPlay live play-predicting game on my cell. I was treated to Dan Dierdorf and one of the Gumbels, who maybe know a lot about the game but have zero charisma or chemistry in the booth. When did football commentators begin to suck so bad?

Dierdorf's been doing it for a long, long time. Call him a trendsetter.
