We're not ready to give it away.Congrats on winning the internet.
This is a great question. My mom, dad, and sister are the only ones that knew. Based on the fact that my mom's house got hit twice...I think she may have been followed. How did the cops know where you were camping?
At this point it was a civil matter, if I would of continued to hide them, a custodial interference...B felony.why would the cops say he's not in trouble and then take the kids?
I don't, but never said where I was....So I remember when the Seahawk 17s were a happily married couple sometimes posting together on FBGs. What makes you think she forgot your name here (it never changed) and that she wouldn't think to look and see what you're up to?
Spent the weekend at a resort, I knew that time was running out so I wanted to give the kids a good time. Sunday until today we went camping(but no fishing)Over the course of the weekend police hit my house, both of my parents, and my grandparents.) Everything was going fine until a few hours ag
ver the weekend I emailed every news agency, the Governor's office, and both of my state Senator's. I have been in contact with the Oregonian who wanted more info, and Oregon Senator Jeff Murkley's aid contacted DHS today on my behalf. A few hours ago, I am at our camp sight and SIX cop cars pull up. They politely served me my paperwork, told me I was not in trouble, and whisked my kids away. They were traumatized to say the least. As this happened around 5:00PST I made some calls and I am now on my way to getting hammered. I will pick up the fight at 8:00am and keep all of you posted.

gps. especially if the cops/governors office was involved. How did the cops know where you were camping?
it was the first he was served with whatever order/writ her lawyer got a judge back home to sign. I wonder if oregon dfacs (dept of fam and child services or the like) has authority to intervene? I truly don"t know.why would the cops say he's not in trouble and then take the kids?
I think you made the whole getting drunk thing up.

I met the cops at a camp ground not a bar, and posted to live about it.Seahawk, I admit I've been pretty skeptical, but if this is a fishing trip it's an awfully good one. Anyhow, I'm back toward believing that it's all true. And so I hope you'll accept my apology for doubting you, and I wish you again the best of luck in getting your kids back.
Thanks
This actually has me going the other way. Every one of those addys and phone #s can be Googled; I think it would have been a masterful stroke to have one or two that were not. This actually is starting to remind me of that Seinfeld episode where George begs out of a Susan Ross Foundation gig by saying he has to go to his house in the Hamptons. They call him on his bluff, and they go all the way out to the east end before he cracks. The level of effort in this thread is quite impressive, however.Seahawk, I admit I've been pretty skeptical, but if this is a fishing trip it's an awfully good one. Listen to the Om.If those people are trying to help you, I don't think they'd appreciate their contact information being out there.Hope your kids are okay.I believe it, I just wonder about the wisdom of documenting everything here.
I have nothing to lose...and there is nothing in here that can't be found in a court report.I believe it, I just wonder about the wisdom of documenting everything here.

I'm not even necessarily talking about the legal issues involved. If this is such serious business, time to power down the TRS-80.I have nothing to lose...and there is nothing in here that can't be found in a court report.I believe it, I just wonder about the wisdom of documenting everything here.
Yeah because all of his other decisions have been pretty solid.I believe it, I just wonder about the wisdom of documenting everything here.
:bingo:Both of those replies were in response to emails, which of course the recipients would treat seriously and reply to seriously given that child abuse is the subject.A lot like this thread. This actually has me going the other way. I know, right?I'd guess there's a 1% chance it's all made up. Not sure why people are so skeptical around here all the time.I don't think so.at the hippling. Love it.
Also, is it confirmed that was just a really messed up fishing trip? If so, that's sort of screwed up.

I think you made the whole getting drunk thing up.
So, this guy is sending emails to media and senators to assist in his:bingo:Both of those replies were in response to emails, which of course the recipients would treat seriously and reply to seriously given that child abuse is the subject.A lot like this thread. This actually has me going the other way. Seahawk 17: Your email was forwarded on to me. I cover many child welfare stories for The Oregonian. I'm not sure I have enough information to judge whether there's a news story to be done about your family's situation. These are often very complicated and time-consuming stories to tell, mostly because we're shut down by confidentiality issues. (Unless there's an arrest or the case somehow gets in a public courtroom). I do have a suggestion, though. It sounds like there's certainly an indication that your child has been abused but no certainty. That leaves you in a no-win situation. My advice would be to get the psychologist and caseworker (or supervisor) on the phone with you or in a meeting so that you all can determine if there HAS been abuse. If that's the case...it would seem like reporting this to the police is the best and safest option for you and your child....just a thought.
I'll put my contact information below,

He was "merely" being served -- they weren't looking to arrest him. Secondly, taking the kids was "merely" enforcing a court order.I take from this story that custody-related orders are not hard-### rules that gets a parent summary prison time for violation. Must be some wiggle room/discretion.why would the cops say he's not in trouble and then take the kids?

I don't buy that anyone is a Seahawk fan. That is just crazy talk.I'm a believer.
Sending a couple anonymous emails is not exactly a Herculean effort, eh?Hell, creating the thread in the first place was more effort than that. So, this guy is sending emails to media and senators to assist in his:bingo:Both of those replies were in response to emails, which of course the recipients would treat seriously and reply to seriously given that child abuse is the subject.A lot like this thread. This actually has me going the other way. Great job guys. Thanks for giving him good advice, you killed the thread.I hope you all get banned and your alias' purged.I'm still aroundI have taken the advice of many on the board and quit posting about what's going on. Things will be decided in court, so when it's done I will update.
