FWIW my numbers only eval of Wilson meshes with this piece perfectly assuming the 4.37-4.42 forty estimates are validated at the combine... i.e. he's an.immense talent who will put the finishing touches on his development after he reaches the NFL...

Really enjoyed reading another perspective on one of my favorite players in this year draft!

Interesting read, especially given the Ingram debate yesterday. Funny. It was interesting to see the process and explanation behind the attempt to objectively understand and rate the categories and qualities that make up a running back's overall vision.

Interesting that "functional strength" slipped in there, too, at least to me. I'm not aware of how prevalent functional strength theories are in the football world. I know there was an interesting article in the NYT about Gray Cook and the Atlanta Falcons and man hours lost, etc., which I found interesting. Perhaps lost man hours will be an issue that more teams address through training and "prehab" and the organizational structure and coordination of their strength/physical therapy/medical teams.

Glad you put this together. I don't get a lot of college football down here, and only managed to catch Wilson in this year's bowl game. Thought of him as "the -22 guy", but he's certainly more than that.
