Four players I will avoid this year (1 Viewer)

Tony Romo - ADP of QB8, ummm I don't think so. I'll pass.

Larry Johnson - I wouldn't draft him in my top 5 this year. Therefor, I won't be drafting him.

Willie Parker - Everyone seems caught up in MJD not matching his TD totals from last year. I think Parker has far less of a chance meeting his.

Steve Smith - New offensive system which favors the RBs and when Tunnel Vision Delhomme finally gets replaced this year, Smith's numbers will drop.

 This is not a popular viewpoint here, but I agree 100%

4 Guys I will avoid,

Randy Moss ( When was the last time there was a 1000 yard receiver in NE)

Tom Brady ( Love his real game, but Bellicheck could care less about Fantasy Numbers)

Shaun Alexander ( Seattle's offense is breaking down quickly)

Larry Fitzgerald ( Love his real game too, but I think Whisen#### will kill both AZ receivers)

As far as MJD, I don't see why Reggie Bush is so much more valued. MJD just dominated him. I am a huge fan and considering almost all gigs in the NFL are RBBC now, why not take a chance that Freddy will finally be done this year. If Taylor does go down, I think MJD is top 5 material.

Romo's first year was more impressive than just about any other Qb's first year. I think he is undervalued if anything. He surely has the weapons, as long as Kerry Glenn mans up again and TO doesn't OD on something, he should be successful.

I'd be absolutely shocked if MJD ended up with 8+ TD's this year.
:lmao: This goes in the bold statements thread.
 I'm not following the logic of the typical MJD detractor. MJD had his touches limited as much last year as he ever will.
Let me reiterate, MJD will not get 8+ TD's. Mark it an 8 dude.
Any specific reason? I'm leary of him no doubt (sophomore jinx), but unless he gets hurt I see his touches going up, and he'll still be getting GL work.
Goal line? Two words ....... Greg Jones.
He's never had more than 4 TDs in a season. Why do you think he's better than MoJo at the goal line?

Ced Benson...."ten foot pole" and "like the plague".
Why? I think Ced is poised for a great year. He is the clear starter in Chicago. Ced is a tough inside runner. I wouldn't reach for him as a #1, but I'd gladly take him at his ADP (RB 16 - 20).
I agree, and I feel Benson is the year's "must have" #2RB. He will help a ton of teams win some cash.Players I will avoid...as in will not draft, even if they have some perceived value

QB- Jake Delhomme

RB- Ahman Green

WR- David Boston

TE- Dez Clark

K- Mike Vanderjacht

Limbs, I know...

Larry Johnson - dark clouds looming

Clinton Portis - injury, Ladell Betts

Cedric Benson - show me a full year first

Lee Evans - just don't have the love for him

Four players that I feel 1) Present horrible value (ADP) and will 2) Be busts this year:1) Brandon Jacobs - His current ADP is #37, I do not see him being able to hold up under a full work load.2) Maurice Jones-Drew - Current ADP #16. He had 16 TD's last year and will not repeat that amazing performance IMO. At best he will split carries, is a RB that splits carries or less value at pick #163) Vince Young - Current ADP #54. He is being drafted as the #9 QB off the board. WOW....who is he going to throw too?4) Javon Walker - Current ADP #43, WR#12. I don't think Cutler will have a good/consistant enough year to have Walker rank @ #12 amoung WR's.
I need to learn to follow my own advice. I drafted Young and Walker.....and just traded for Jones-Drew. Hopefully I can aquire Jacobs :lmao:

That is hilarious.I would say you were strong in making these statements. I wish I had listened as I have at least one of these guys in some league or another.

How's that working out for you so far?

QB

Tony Romo (thought he regressed badly at the end of the year)

RB

Larry Johnson (On one of the worst offenses in football, won't live up to his ADP)

Frank Gore (Great talent, but not gonna spend a high 1st on a guy who was healthy for the first time since high school)

Brandon Jacobs (No upside at all and with his running style if they give him 200+ carries his body will get beaten to a pulp)

WR

Colston (Not ready to buy into him after one season at where he's getting drafted)

Darrell Jackson (Way too many injury concerns and while he was solid he was never lights out in a much better Seattle offense)
You are crazy, it would be virtually impossible for LJ not to be RB3.
History shows that one of the [consensus] top 3 RB's taken every year are outright busts, for one reason or another. Go back as far as you want, it happens every year. Last year it was Alexander, two years ago it was Holmes. So this year, your choices are LT, S Jax or LJ. My money is on LJ to join that infamous list.
This logic somehow seems silly to me.
yes, silly. I agree."every" year? a "historical trend"?

but I'm even more curious who you rank at #3 overall if both LJ and Gore are gonna' be busts.

Don't get me wrong, I see that there's concern over both of them... but who's your #3 after LT and SJax if you're so sure LJ and Gore are doomed this year?
I never stated both LJ and Gore are going to be busts, that was ILUVBEER99. I stated that it is a historical fact that every year, one of the top 3 consensus RB's is a bust. Go back as far as you want, it happens every year. You can claim it is silly all you want, but it is a fact.
:wall:

 I read the first post, and was going to commend you on a good prediction. Well, anyways, it looks like MJD is coming on.
