I loved it...I loved having the official like explanations of a few calls in the Packers/Jets game and then during the Vikings/Pats game.Big for that feature.

If he would take Collinsworth place I would love it! After every big hit yesterday CC was saying "Looked like that could have been helmet to helmet"..let it go.
i wish he still did the "official review" on the NFL network, because that new guy (johnson?) can barely speak english and does an awful job explaining things.....Rich basically holds his hand and walks him through the explanations.....guy has no confidence and has trouble putting sentences together.....you can tell he hates every second of it and is very uncomfortable.....like he is being forced to do it.....I realize he is the new VP of officials or whatever, but they should have somebody else doing this portion of the job and representing them on national TV........Pereira was/is the bomb......
Nothing drives me nuts like "joe FBG" screaming in all caps "WAKE UP REF THAT WAS AN AWFUL CALL", when what he should be saying is "man I can't believe the rules committee made that rule" or "why did the owners put a point of emphasis on calling that type of penalty".As I have said many times these guys are well compensated for what they do, if you think you can do a better job grab a whistle. I promise you that you will have a whole new respect for how good these guys are.I like the Pereira spots - he can explain things better then any announcer when appropriate.
Considering they have replays every 5 minutes during NFL games now it makes sense. (exaggerating of course but the replays this year seem to be occurring far more frequently than in the past).I like him on Fox. When he was still employed by the NFL and appearing on Total Access he was a stooge for the league and said whatever he had to in order to defend a ref's call.
