FRANk GORE cannot be stopped (1 Viewer)

I told ya all so.

Cadillac Williams...ha

Cedric Benson...who?

Ronnie Brown...couple, of luck TD's.

The LOD saw the greatness that is Frank Gore, stealing him in Rd. 2. Gore runs with power, speed, vision and anything else you can think of. His super flypaper hands will keep him in on all passing downs also. Now with a revamped O-line, nothing can stop the MIGHTY FRANK GORE from posting record stats. 350-2400-34 TD's is not out of the question for this future Hall of Famer.

Said coach Mike Nolan: "The thing that impresses me most in watching him run - when you think he's got two yards, he'll pop out of there for six (yards). ... Until you've got him on the ground, his legs are churning." Damn straight.

FRANK GORE!!!!!!!!!!

I think Otis spotlighted Gore long before you, so respect goes to Otis.

Only if he spotted him before the draft last year. I grabbed him while others grabbed the ham and eggers I listed above.

It must feel wonderful to be so proud of yourself. Get a grip.

I like Gore as much as the next guy, but i would trade him for Caddy or Brown in a second.

I'm sure many people thought Gore would be good, they just don't toot their horns like Otis does.
Who is tooting his own horn? I made several posts about him this time last year saying I thought he was special, and the main thread over the winter. I'm not tooting my horn. I'm just giving you my feelings and analysis on him. Feel free to ignore it if it didn't help you out any.

:thumbup:I watch the 'canes, too - their my favorite college team. I just wasn't about to espouse the value of Gore solely on what I know about his talent level when the other factors weren't present: the team had serious OL problems and Barlow was still expected to earn his contract. That said, let's talk about Gore's value - trade him TODAY!!Reasons:-The loss of two starting OLs.-His style of running due to those losses is a recipe for overworking a RB and getting him injured.-They won't play the Cards every week.-His value is unlikely to ever get higher now because you can trade on his "upside" factor - in a few weeks, that upside factor will be realized, or will have no credibility.I would not be surprised if Gore plus a b/u WR netted you KJones, RDroughns, or some other starting RB who is more likely to have a better season.

Kevin Jones :lmao: :lmao:

When is FBG staff going to get off his jock? Last year Rudnicki said he'd lead the league in rushing, and now Levin would move him for Gore?

The guy sucks. I can't believe people burned first-round picks on him.

Man, those 2.7 pts Droughns got for me today sure are looking better than the 40 pts Gore will have before his game is over.Edit: to add that the offer you mentioned wouldn't surprise me if someone took it, either.

It's mind-boggling. I could see someone who just doesn't believe in Gore's talent possibly taking Kevin Jones straight-up (I wouldn't do that in a million years). But to suggest you'd have to throw something in along with Gore to get Jones ... or Droughns? :X

You are absolutely out of your mind.
:goodposting: Gore rushed for 4.5 ypc behind an o-line with the same problems, a rawer rookie QB, and in a clueless offensive scheme. He's going to be fine. As somone just said, LT was able to put up those kinds of numbers with the same or worse problems in his offense through 2003 before Brees' light finally clicked "on".

You are both nuts to call me nuts. I guess only this game matters to you all? There is a rest of the year to consider - I will sig bet BOTH of you right now that Gore finishes below both those players in EOY stats - assuming all three players play at least 8 games. And, in a redraft, Droughns and Jones were late 2nd/early 3rd round pick while Gore was in the fourth or later in most drafts for a REASON - that is their perceived value in the vast majority of FF leagues. Of COURSE you have to throw a player in with Gore to get one of those guys - those guys are opencilled in as starting RB2.Gore = RB3 with upside. And, I am NOT pimping KJones - that is what his VALUE is.

Gore is looking at 100 rushing and receiving, i cant remember the last time i have seen that, if ever.
Ladanian Tomlinson did it fairly recently.
I didnt believe you, so i looked it up. As it turns out, you are wrong. Can anyone remember anyone doing it?
Priest?
Week 12, 2002:KC v. SEA 23 carries 197 rush yards 2 rush TDs 7 catches, 110 receiving yards, 1 receiving TD, 48.7 standard FF Points. Preist had several games after that where he was over 100 in either rushing or receving and over 90 in the non-100 yard one.Ask and ye shall receive the ANSWER as opposed to a guess.

Exactly. :goodposting: I drafted him in all 3 of my leagues, but I am not going to talk smack about it. If you've played fantasy ball for a long time, you know its very bad karma to ever toot your own horn.Has Brian Westbrook ever rushed for 100/rec'd for 100? Wouldn't surprise me if he did.

Help me out any? I've had Gore on my roster since I drafted him last year. You toot your horn all the time.

I like Gore a lot, too, BTW - I *am* a 'cane fan, like I said.

I am not ignorant of his potential - but the reasons I listed above for why you should trade him now as opposed to hanging onto him hold true. In about three weeks, when he does not play the Cards and has to deal with the loss of two OL, I predict he will be getting hit behind the LOS and fighting for three positive yards rather than taking his first hit two yards downfield and fighting to get an extra few yards for a 5 yard per carry average.

His value will plummett because, as I said, you can trade on his unknown upside potenbtial now - in three weeks, that quotient will be gone. That x-factor part of his trade value is HUGE - someone with a decent RB who had a bad day will want to make a quick move now.

Target the Mike Bell owner and try to get one of his better receivers for Gore.
