Frank Gore Injury Update? (1 Viewer)

On The Rocks

Footballguy
The FBG Monday Morning Injury report stated he couldn't get x-rays at the stadium on Sunday and there would be updates yesterday.

I don't see anything...am I missing something?

Fantasy Analysis

Gore, who missed most of the preseason with a broken right hand, had precautionary X-rays on his hand that were negative. He should do better when he and the Niners play at home vs. Seattle in Week 4. Start him in all leagues for that game.

Yikes people, the info is out there................

xrays are not for ligament tears AnonBob. Thats what MRI's are for. Gore's injury is not ligament related, so yes, xrays did confirm his injury is negative on a break or fracture.

are you serious? Do you even know what a ligament tear is? Most ligament tears are better assesed by team doctors on the sideline then through an x ray. get a clue pal. i have had torn ligaments and x rays dont show anything. you need to get an mri to confirm ligament tears vs. sprains. to the person whop wrote "deuces x-rays were negative as well." I was trying to differentiate between a bone injury and a ligament tear in terms of x-rays and MRI's.Piss off.

Which is to be expected since x-rays don't show soft tissue damage. He tore an ACL, he didn't break a knee.

Note where he writes "with posts like that I'd want to be anonymous too"?

hahaaa!! SORRY. I guess i need another coffee!

first off, i'm not anonymous bob.

second, ligament/soft tissue damage is quite frequently associated with bone fractures which would be observable via xray. so you're wrong if you think there is no correlation at all between bone damage and soft tissue damage.

third, mentioning Deuce was meant to be sarcastic.

Ok, no worries, let's drop it. But you are wrong, xrays cannot confirm or identify ligament tears. Good Day!By the way, i think Gore is fine and he is ready to rumble this week.

Okie dokie, then. So, anyone have anything new on Gore's status?
Although this thread is disturbing because I am about to trade for Gore, the complete lack of any information remotely hinting at anything wrong with Gore outside of what is posted here makes me feel better.Good thread for the mods to delete afaik.
