Blame Jim Hostler, the SF OC. You'd think he'd try to play to our offense's strength by running Gore more. Instead, we get 42 Trent Dilfer pass attempts to 16 Gore rushes.

I think Gore is definitely up for Bust of the Year. Another nominee could be Steve Smith. Too bad I drafted them in the first two rounds in two leagues!

I noticed that the 49ers gave Gore the rock a lot in this game, but where is the creative playcalling? Almost every Gore run was up the middle. Where are the screens? Why isn't Gore lining up as a WR so the 49ers can take advantage of his quickness on the outside?

I love Frank Gore, but he's absolutely broken my heart this season.

yeah. i don't tend to hold grudges in my re-drafts but.....man it's gonna be hard to draft Gore again. this feels like owning Eddie George at the beginning of the end. at least Eddie got 35 carries to get his 80 yards.

Gore has killed me this year, too, but I can't blame it on him. He has no room to run, he isn't getting the ball enough, and he is getting zero help from the rest of the offense.

I know it's not his fault. He still looks like a beast when there's any glimmer of a hole for him to run through, but what a total waste of a first rounder.

I'm considering cutting him outright at this point, just out of disgust.

How the heck do they repair that team by next year.

Needs: Legitimate starting QB, WR's that can catch, replacement for L. Allen and maybe more on the OL and of course, an OC who is not a clueless moron that takes the best player off the field on 3rd downs. Maybe Nolan needs to go becasue of all this. Someone has to be blamed for this train wreck. The NFL should not allow SF to charge admission for the trash they bring onto the field weekly.

The Rams interior d-line is much improved with the addition of Carriker and Clifton Ryan. They are decent against the run now. All they really lack is a DE than can pressure the qb ( chris long , please )

I used to think Nolan was a pretty cool coach for dressing sharp on the field. Now he just looks like the town wino in a worn out old suit. Time this chump and his sorry OC.
