I don’t think I’ve ever had an ice cream I didn’t like, well, except Bryers but that garbage technically isnt ice cream

B&J Phish food

key lime pie

creme brulee

BR quarteback crunch

Breyers has a seasonal hot cocoa with marshmallows

Thrifty used to have a chocolate malted crunch.

Anything that puts coffee & chocolate together, esp in gelato form. Love a good, inventive rainbow sherbet in summer, too.

Also getting a kick of the ice creams, truffles, etc that put chocolate with black raspberry these days. Back in the '50s me Da worked his way thru school in the freezers of the Sealtest Ice Cream company in Burlington VT. Sealtest was a great ice cream company and was more adventurous than other brands in those three-flavored days. They featured a Flavor-of-the-Month and would offer Peach, Banana Split, and some of the first flavors with chunkstuff. When a lot of the FotM went unsold, it would come back to the factory, be strained & then the base reprocessed into chocolate for resale.

However there were some flavors that couldnt be masked by strong chocolate flavor. When this happened, the run would be scooped into 5-gal cardboard containers and set aside in the freezers for disposal. Since they were essentially frozen garbage, it was not an offense to take some of these accidental double flavors home, so me Da - who was feeding four on a PT job (fried bologna or bean sammiches some days) - squirrelled the tubs of chocoberry to a private corner of the freezer and brought 5gal tubs of mistake ice cream home til it was gone. mmmmmmm, but weird.

Blue Bell Homemade Vanilla

This sounds boring ...but it's not.  It is by far the closest thing to real homemade ice cream that my dad made.  It is magnificent.

I do like a bunch of unusual flavor combos - Jeni's has a spicy Bangkok Thai Peanut with coconut and lemongrass that fantastic - as well as their Queen City Cayenne, a spicy chocolate.

Graeter's Black Raspberry Dark Chocolate Chip is pretty #####in' too.   To call them chips is an understatement - very dark chocolate chunks ...goes great with the tart black raspberry.
