If you have room on your dynasty rosters, make space for Eric Johnson and/or Daniel Graham. Both are probably FAs in most leagues, and I believe the Saints will make a move for a top TE, instantly making whoever they pick up top 5 material. Payton was pissed at the TEs all year, and shutting down the flats will leave the middle open for TEs all year.

As a casual Patriot follower, living in the area, and a Raiders fan who would love to see them sign graham, I don't think he's going anywhere.

IIRC, they named him a captain this year. I may be reading into that move a bit much, but I wonder if they would have done that if they were planning on let him bounce.

They only have two big ticket guys, he and Samuel, and I bet they work something out.

I figure with Graham's physical ability, someone is going to throw serious $$$ his way. With Watson already in town, I assume he won't be a Pat next year. Of course, I could be wrong.

I hope the Vikings make a serious run at Graham, he can do both block and catch!

Also, Graham is not even close to available in any of my dynasty leagues.

There is rumor that the Pats might tag Graham for the price of $4 million. I think it is too much, but he is a very good NFL TE.

Graham is an easy guy to like. He's very athletic, big and physical. He's as good a blocker as there is at TE and his pass-catching was as consistent this year as it ever was. In the past he dropped a lot of easy ones but that wasn't the case this year. He's also well liked by his teammates and is turning into a leader.

The big issue with Graham is his health. It seems like he's been on the injury list since he's been in Foxboro. He has never played a full season as these are the amount of games he has played over his career:

06-12

05-11

04-14

03-14

02-12

That's a lot of missed time. Therefore it's a risk to tie up big money in him...and my guess is someone will throw big money at him. The bottomline with Graham is if he's on the field 16 games he will be a very nice addition to some team. On the flipside if a team pays him big money and he only plays 12 games they will regret it because that's money that could have used elsewhere.

As a Pats fan I would love to see him back but it has to be to a deal that doesn't have too much exposure. Since so many teams have money to burn this offseason my guess is he's in another uniform next year. I hope I'm wrong but the landscape kind of looks set for this and with both Watson and Thomas signed for multiple years the cupboard isn't bare at that position either.

Even though the Redskins don't need a tight end, I'd like to see them go after a guy like this. Saunders has had success in the past with multiple tight end sets and he sure can block.

As I've said before, I'd rather the Pats re-sign Graham and get rid of Watson. I'm sick of him teasing me with his immense potential then watching a pass hit his feet or him drop it. Graham is way more steady and one heck of a blocker. So what if he can't break a catch 80 yards for a TD, that's normal for TEs.

I would be just fine with Graham and Thomas as the TEs in 07. If Payton is serious, at least see how much he'd offer for Watson.

Johnson's injury history doesn't warrant much more than a flier in FF.
