i just saw that he is downgraded to questionable.... is he playing sunday?

Looks to me like the entire Colts team is questionable. There's a bad joke in there somewhere...

Ordinarily I don't like the questionable tag, especially with leg injuries, but it looks like there's a fair amount of play in the Colt questionable tag. I'd see if Freeney practices today, then decide how nervous to be.

Wide receiver Brandon Stokley, defensive end Dwight Freeney and kicker Adam Vinatieri were among those players who remained listed as questionable.

Dorsey, Chapman, Hartsock, Keiaho, Lilja, Simon and Stokley all missed a portion of “team” – or 11-on-11 – practice, the team said in its injury report.

“The guys who haven’t practiced, obviously it will be tough for them to go,” Dungy said. “Simon and Hartsock, for sure, it will be tough for them. The other guys, we’ll see how they go. Right now, if I was betting on it, I probably wouldn’t bet on it.

“Realistically, the guys who haven’t practiced, it would be unusual for them to play. But we can’t rule them out.”

It sounds like Freeney did practice today, but wasn't among those upgraded to probable according to the report. Reading between the lines, that suggests he should play.

I don't know that's there's much difference between Rice and Freeney in this scoring setup and neither matchup stands out to me. I'd take the healthy player in Rice.

that's what i was thinking, but freeney can be a beast when healthy. i just needed someone else to back up my thinking.

i hope the guys at FBG are paying you good money, if not... you deserve a raise!

I hope he plays, I'm only carrying 1 DL, and its freeney. I usually use my floating player to cover bye weeks on both kicker and DL. I carry backups at ever other position
