Furrey (1 Viewer)

He's the clear cut #2 guy in Det... Targets are increasing weekly from 6 to 10 (Wk1 to Wk4)...

The Martz system "appears" to be slowly coming around now... With this system, the players around him ( Kitna is a very servicable QB, running game isn't the worst in the league, Roy draws the doubles), and being his 4th year in the league, is it crazy to think this guy could put up better numbers on a weekly basis than a #1 guy like Williamson or Evans from here on out?

I sure hope so...I'm putting in a claim for him this week. You gotta think their D is going to keep giving up points, so they will need to throw alot. Schedule doesn't seem too overpowering, already played the Bears once.

He has been their number 2 since the first game of the season. Kitna relied on him quite a bit during the Bears game, and the cutting of Bradford only confirms their confidence in Furrey. He is a nice possesion type receiver, with Roy Williams the home run hitter. Martz always has his pet players and Furrey will continue seeing a good number of targets which makes him very valuable in Point Per Reception leagues.

But will that translate into the numbers we saw from the STL #2 WR, which would be better than Evans or the like... Is that type of production possible?

You're basically asking if Furrey's numbers are going to be as good as Isaac Bruce's, and that's just not realistic.Furrey is on pace for 968 yards and 8 TDs. I won't be surprised if he exceeds that projection.
