Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (1 Viewer)

Tried listening to the binge mode podcast for GoT and it’s worse than this thread. Just some geek screaming into the mic for 45 minutes and making annoying sound effects like the guy in Police Academy.

Is there anybody watching this show who is capable of acting like a human?
the GoT podcast by the Bald Move guys is much more reasonable, I've found.

Finally caught up on this thread and now my head hurts.
There should really be a disclaimer in the thread title..."if you are more than XX# of pages behind or have never been in this thread please stay away, it's for your own good".

Bald Move has a good cast. One of them is a whinger, the other plays it straight.

Thought I read that the dragons are technically gender fluid or gender neutral and we're not sure if they laid eggs or not.

Also, I read something about eggs being somewhere else that could possible be found.  Could just be speculation.
the teaser made it seem as though there were mulitple dragons coming in for attack

Oh man I’ve loved this season but if they sent drogon off to have babies and they come to attack, the writers are going to deserve all the anger that they get from people. That would be sooooooo lame.

You talking about the scene with Euron looking at the sky? I'm guessing it's dragon armor courtesy of Lord Gendry. Think about how long it took Dany's dragons to get big enough to battle. It doesn't add up.

If they bring in additional dragons it will seriously be the dumbest thing I've ever seen.

Dany needs to call the Second Sons out of the bullpen. Those of you who follow the "business" side of the show - do we know if Michiel Huisman (Daario) will appear in this season? Seems kinda dumb to pretend they don't exist anymore.

Somewhat related, from the Binge Mode podcast:

they cast someone as the new prince of Dorne, which has its entire army left. So he will presumably show up with massive reinforcements.

My questioning it wasn't so much about the time it took him....it was more about how he was allowed into Winterfell.  Doesn't everyone know he's with Cersei's army?  Why just let him wonder in?
I have no idea if this has really been addressed since i am about ten pages back (you chatty people), but this is pretty reasonable.  Parts of the walls were destroyed by the dragon.  Tons of strangers in multiple armies are everywhere, and they are armed.  No one knows most people as they normally would.  Everyone is exhausted.  People are trying to sort things out.  One random person sauntering through would likely pass unnoticed.  I could do it as long as I didn't have a Starbucks cup.

The mob mentality that seems to be forming on the interweb dissing everything about the show is all too predictable.

The writing this season is pretty weak for sure, but all these complainers will be glued to their TVs at exactly 7:00pm est this Sunday and next.

People love complaining.

This show comes on at 7:00?

Not sure what you are getting at.  Watching <> loving.  I watched True Blood every time it aired with the wife and hated the last few seasons of that.

It's reminiscent of WWE programming.

... prob won’t make it, he’s got a lot on his hands. Making sure the Hill house is looked after n all.

Honest question because I didn't watch it when it was being released, but did people complain about the final season of Breaking Bad?  My guess is no because it was ####### awesome.

I don't have the time to catch up on all of these pages. Just watched the episode last night.

While I did like the episode, I have an issue with how quickly everything happened. Just seems so rushed this season.

They shoot the dragon and 5 minutes later, back at the castle? They didn't proceed to shore and finish off the rest of the crew?

Considering Cersei considers Jaime a traitor a now, I doubt he can just walk up to her anymore.
They still are in love with each other. I doubt he tries to kill her anyway. - she is carrying his baby. And like her, he has always loved his kids. Perhaps he even tries to save her and his baby from the inevitable dragon attack from Dany

Euron - That's my baby in there Mr. Kingslayer!

Jamie - 😮

Cersei - He's right, traitor.

Jamie - *shanks her*

Cersei - Whoops, I was lying. *dies*

Jamie - 😕

I seem to remember a conversation with him and Tyrion talking about women they have been with. I could have it wrong though and it was just Tyrion speaking about his conquests.
I think it was Ned's wife where Jamie said something like "hey, you may think me not honorable, but I've always been faithful to Cersi..."

We get it, the writing is lazy or bad or whatever. Can we move on from that. It is what it is. And as someone who just had to catch up on about 20 pages of this thread, it got to be quite droning. The horse picture was brilliant though!

Employ a method of speed reading and just skim over the nonsense. If I get too far behind I scroll through pretty quickly. You can usually figure out the direction of the post fairly quickly.

Oh, I did as well. As soon as I see, "We all know that without the source mater..." Off to the next post.

I am thinking Mad Queen gets killed by Jaime (he hopes to stop Dany from burning KL down) who gets killed by Greyworm. Arya steals Jaime's face and stabs Cersei in the belly.

Not sure if this is likely but it'd be a ballsy way to close it out. It almost sounds like what Martin would do, which doesn't sound like the show anymore.
