Game of Thrones, tv only, books don't exist, no backstory...NERDS already ruining a series that hasn't started (3 Viewers)

You're right, Christo, the joke is that I want to watch Tommen get naked, not that I necessarily want to get naked with him. The latter would be over the top!

So you're not picturing him already naked, but the act of him getting naked? And you may or may not be there doing the same?

Your avatar is making this difficult for me. I have this image of Bill Cowher yelling and spitting in my face: "SO YOU'RE NOT PICTURING HIM ALREADY NAKED?!!"

ETA- I feel like Kordell Stewart.

:lmao: :lmao:

That made me laugh out loud. Well done, sir.

Just watched the last 2 episodes again. Dinklage really can act his ### off. Its just a shame that his potential roles are so limited. The dude has Oscar winning talent.

Who cares even if they did say she was 15? The actress is in her mid 20s. If they said on the show that she was 4 years old and then showed her bouncing off of Khal Drogo's penis in the next scene, would it then be kiddie porn?
im #####ing about the moron bringing book knowledge into the thread and then claiming hes not.
First, it wasn't book knowledge, in the book she is 13, and they aged her up for the tv show. THAT is some book knowledge for you. I specifically didn't mention that part AT ALL until someone else brought it up. Anyways, it was definitely from the show. As for what episode, I'm not gonna go back and watch them all to prove a point. Particularly as it has been clearly demonstrated that some of the viewers here only watch about half of each episode anyways, and forget half of the half they watch as soon as they try to post something about it.

As for name calling, you should be better than that. Calling people moron's, while entirely your right, isn't "being excellent to one another". So take a chill, it was from the TV show, just because you don't remember it doesn't mean it's from the book.

The whole thing with the comment Tim made about Tommen is stupid, and I was just trying to illustrate that. All it proved is that you get your panties in a bunch over some really silly stuff that is absolutely irrelevant to your enjoyment or lack thereof in the show.

:goodposting: X 100 on the bolded. Cracks me up when people can't remember any names outside of the 5 main characters and forget significant events or other important info. Its a complex show but come on. Honestly makes me think that people are on their phones the whole time and just listening to the show in the background.

Any guess as to why Melissandra needs Stannis' daughter along on the trip?

Sacrifice?
There's power in king's blood.
That's what I'm figuring. It'll be interesting to see if Stannis goes along with that.

Speaking of, did we ever see a reaction from anyone over Gendrey's disappearance? No one ever questioned Davos?

Gendrey has to be making an appearance soon, unless he's still rowing.

stannis almost executed him at the end of season 3 because he released Gendry

Oh that's right. That's when Davos saves himself with the letter from the wall.

thx...

lots of people we expected to see play bigger roles and characters we cheered for have died off. wouldn't surprise me at all if this is no different.

My thinking as well. Almost seems too obvious for Oberyn to get justice. Tyrion did tell him he came to the wrong place if he's seeking justice. If Oberyn does lose I'm curious how they keep Tyrion around. Something unexpected would have to happen. Which is what GoT is good at.

Cersei poisons Oberyn before the showdown, putting Tyrion in a corner to fight his own fight. Much like the rabid chihuahua that he once encounter at a Mexican brothel, the wee-man goes straight for the ankles. The result is a stunning upset, as he slices the Mountain's Achilles' tendons and then spends the next hour and a half decapitating his opponent. Most of the arena has emptied out by the time he finally finishes, but that doesn't stop word from spreading all over Westeros of the greatest underdog victory in trial by combat history. Tyrion gains a previously unheard of level of fame and is known from here on out as The Molehill.

I loved Bronn's line: "I hope to hear that song one day"

Right - if the Viper doesn't win Tyrion is in all likely hood dead and I just can't see that happening. If it does I'm going to rip the TV off the wall and light it on fire.

At some point the Lanisters have to loose. They are in some ways undefeated to this point in the story. It just makes sense.

Anyone have odds on tomorrow nights fight?
Without real knowledge of the storyline

Mountain -400, Viper +300

Considering Tyrion probably isn't going to die, that the Viper is a big new character and the Mountain has been a different actor every time he has been on screan....

Viper -800 Mountain +600

It seems very unlikely that Oberyn loses. There wouldn't have been much of a reason to introduce his character and it sets up so many better storylines if he wins.
was it likely ned stark got his head chopped off?
No, but it also doesn't seem likely that Oberyn could defeat the Mountain. On a straight matchup a Mountain victory would be the obvious outcome. Storywise though, I don't see it happening. Of course I could be wrong. That's what makes the show so good.
