Do we know where Stanis is headed now? Could it be the Wall? Not sure how he gets past Bolton but he is the only one that seemed to care about what was going down at the Wall.Slider6 said:They did. They sent crows to every person of influence in Westeros. Do you not remember the letter Davos gave to Stannis that basically saved him from being executed for helping Gendry escape?Chaka said:I can see it both ways with the wall. It does seem like criminals are given the opportunity to go to the wall, maybe most opt out but I would think there would be plenty of criminals in Westeros. For me the difficult part to understand is how much communication, or lack thereof, is going on between the wall and King's Landing. I would think someone might want to mention to Tywin that an army of 100,000 wildlings is marching on the wall and maybe ask for some reinforcements.I thought when jon first got to the wall, there was only 200-300 guys there, if that. since then, many have died ranging, during the first mutiny at crasters and during the second fight at crasters.don't know why you think people are going there all the time. about the only "group" we saw heading there was the one ayra was in, and of the 20 recruits they were able to scrape up in kings landing, 0 made it there.Im sure I could draw up 1000 questions to nit pick at this show, but one just hit me tonight.
Why in the world are there only 102 men of the nights watch? They are getting scores of recruits every few weeks it seems just from guys who want to duck a crime. Sure some die and some probably dont pan out but they would become the cooks. When they were smuggling out Arya Stark they had what seemed like 10-15 new recruits didn't they?
one of the main threads is how woefully undermanned the wall is and how that threat north of the wall should be much more worrisome than who sits on the throne.
Last we knew, the charismatic King Borington was doing exciting things at the bank, stirring a heated debate over whether Westeros could possibly have a banking system along with their zombies and dragons and magic forked tongue kids and creepy mirror guys who can replicate themselves at will and murder a room full of people.Do we know where Stanis is headed now? Could it be the Wall? Not sure how he gets past Bolton but he is the only one that seemed to care about what was going down at the Wall.

I thought I read somewhere where one of the writers said that the finale is the equivalent of episode 9 in past seasons. So i expect a really good episode but I think the finale will be the big one.S1 E9 - Ned's executionAnd to think...... next week is episode 9.
S2 E9 - Battle at the Blackwater
S3 E9 - The Red Wedding
S4 E9 - I can't see them topping what we've seen so far this season, but I expect another great episode.
the battle he lost to a midget?#### the haters here, Stannis is the man. You forget about Blackwater?
I seem to remember him overcoming wildfire and having the midget trapped before Tywin and Loras Tyrell led a surprise cavalry attack.the battle he lost to a midget?#### the haters here, Stannis is the man. You forget about Blackwater?
Arya laughing was so f'n awesome.![]()

She's a childSurely Arya and Sansa finally rejoin.
Tywins plan for Dany worked...surprisingly easily.
I would think there has been plenty of cases where both foes sustained injuries and died, one still dies first. It's particularly clear when one dies on the battlefield and the Hand of the King says, "Sorry Tyrion, you lost, prepare to lose your head."Synthesizer said:If the mountain dies from Oberyn's sword, couldn't that be considered a draw? I don't know the official rules of trial by combat.
Little Finger is on Team Sansa. That's more or less how I took it. I also took it to mean she is now fully on team little finger.Sabertooth said:The innocence is gone now with her lie. Even if it's a draw, the Red Viper died. And he stood in for Tyrion. So Tyrion is ####ed either way, IMO.Gotta figure Tyrion's saving grace is that the Mountain dies too, ultimately leaving it a draw.
Right...so, he got pwn3d.I seem to remember him overcoming wildfire and having the midget trapped before Tywin and Loras Tyrell led a surprise cavalry attack.the battle he lost to a midget?#### the haters here, Stannis is the man. You forget about Blackwater?
Thank god you showed up!Mentioned earlier about Arya laughing at her aunt's death - she wasn't laughing at that directly - she was laughing that the mighty Hounds plan fell through..
I thought she was laughing at something funny she remembered from earlier.Thank god you showed up!Mentioned earlier about Arya laughing at her aunt's death - she wasn't laughing at that directly - she was laughing that the mighty Hounds plan fell through..
I think the Hound dies this season... I hope not, but I'd guess he is a character that doesn't get to season 5.Mentioned earlier about Arya laughing at her aunt's death - she wasn't laughing at that directly - she was laughing that the mighty Hounds plan fell through..
Yah, Arya's comment about him not walking as fast as he usually does made me think the same thing.I think the Hound dies this season... Yup, that scene was the warning that Hound is out.Yah, Arya's comment about him not walking as fast as he usually does made me think the same thing.I think the Hound dies this season... I was half expecting the mountain to confess, then Oberyn throw the spear at Tywin. Didn't expect that outcome at all. I have no doubt they'll still save Tyrion somehow, just don't see how.
I think the opposite. I think so many people expect him to die because it is Game of Thrones, who's not afraid to kill main characters, that it will actually be surprising at this point if he does live.Yup, that scene was the warning that Hound is out.Yah, Arya's comment about him not walking as fast as he usually does made me think the same thing.I think the Hound dies this season... Honestly, with the amount of curveballs from the show, I think it is almost probable Tyrion dies... Majority think he somehow survives, for that reason I think he goes. They always do the opposite of what you expect, since we all expect him to survive, he dies.
I knew it was obvious, clowns - the earlier reference to that scene made it sound like Arya was laughing at the aunt's deathI thought she was laughing at something funny she remembered from earlier.Thank god you showed up!Mentioned earlier about Arya laughing at her aunt's death - she wasn't laughing at that directly - she was laughing that the mighty Hounds plan fell through..
Exactly. He let his emotion get the best of him. What was he going to do surrounded by the enemy? Not sure what Oberyons end game was when he was attempting to call out Tywin.

Speaking of shocking Ep. 9's, how awesome would it be if the Hound got so pissed about not getting a ransom that he killed and ate Arya?I knew it was obvious, clowns - the earlier reference to that scene made it sound like Arya was laughing at the aunt's deathI thought she was laughing at something funny she remembered from earlier.Thank god you showed up!Mentioned earlier about Arya laughing at her aunt's death - she wasn't laughing at that directly - she was laughing that the mighty Hounds plan fell through..
The Mountain's beer can fingers gouging out his eyes woke him right up.I've watched that final scene about 10x already, just awesome... Honestly, after getting hit so hard that it knocks most of your teeth out, wouldn't you be completely unconscious afterwards after a shot on the button like that?

I think Tommen does.I think Margaery needs to sneak into Tyrion's cell and give him consolation sex the night before the beheading.
