OH OKI know you enjoyed all the chit chat and characters reminiscing but keep in mind...
No talk about how they will defend themselves against the dead dragon.
Speaking of dragons, no talk if their two dragons were able to get enough food and will be ready for battle. They are by far their best weapon. Why?
It's like they focused on having a ton of people in this episode just so they can validate killing them soon but steered away from a worthy plotline.
Bad episode.
Totally agree. Should have spent more time discussing dragon food. And what about the latrines? There's thousands of people.I know you enjoyed all the chit chat and characters reminiscing but keep in mind...

Were you in "too much time spent riding dragons" camp last week?I know you enjoyed all the chit chat and characters reminiscing but keep in mind...

Man I seriously hope this is not the case.Arya getting laid probably means she’s gone. Surely will be in a heroic way though.
Yeah, no gracias with the oilers-spay.
The latter. She's from someplace warm far away...she mentioned missing the beaches and that her people aren't warriors. The only scene I didn't care for was the one with Missandei and Grey Worm. Why would it even be a question whether or not they'd live their life together at Winterfell?
Or was he talking about all of Westeros? I guess that would make more sense, since they probably consider King's Landing and Winterfell as one place, but it sounded at the time (to me) like Winterfell.
They already finished their arc. Hound and brienne would give balance to their fight earlier. Brienne and tormund would be... weird. Brienne saving sansa or Arya might make the most sense for her character, but we'll probably get super arya saving brienne instead.Saving Jamie, imo
I don't think this is going to be literal.Podrik's song is important. It's a song about a woman morning the dead right?
From the second he starts singing, we see
Brienne and Tormund....
Gilly and Sam....
Sansa and Theon....
Arya and Gendry...
Greyworm and Missandei...
Sir Friendzone Jorah...
And then Jon and Dany in the crypts.
All the guys die if the song is their story....
I think there's unrequited/not-umderstood love left between their story, which why I see her saving himThey already finished their arc. Hound and brienne would give balance to their fight earlier. You should be in charge of writing these episodes.
Maybe they want it to be a surprise next week?So no talk about how to fight the dead dragon?
Just let that go, huh?
And no mention of the incest. I think I might have started there before getting to line of succession.Dany didn’t sound too happy with Jon’s big news.

there are other tweets that are good... trust me
Arya now has the true heir in her belly should Jon and Dany die, right?
Kinda goes to the heart of what Sam was asking Jon about her last week. Her first thought when hearing the news is about the threat to her claim on the throne and not about the incest. And no mention of the incest. I think I might have started there before getting to line of succession.
I sure hope not. (At least not next week) Waste of a kick ### character if that happens.Arya getting laid probably means she’s gone. Surely will be in a heroic way though.
I almost think it would be more fun to see them fight than watch them talk about fighting. So no talk about how to fight the dead dragon?
Just let that go, huh?
Every bit of it.That was awesome. Seriously awesome.
Something something black out game.Arya going to go all Darth Maul. Nice.
Anyone in this thread could have written this episode.Best writing in an episode in a while imo.
Nothing on Twitter is fantastic#GameOfThrones and
#GameOfThornes
Are both trending on Twitter and the gifs/memes are fantastic.
ETA: also #giantsmilk![]()
I remember someone posting a while back that Gendry had no claim because he was not an acknowledged *******, and it is too late for him to become one after Robert died. It made me wonder why Joffrey had sought to have all rumored bastards killed, if none had claims. Wish I better understood these rules..Arya now has the true heir in her belly should Jon and Dany die, right?
Two things I also noticed/thought during the episode. The Gilly actress is so pregnant it's distracting, with no story reason given.1. Half expected Dany to fire Tyrion and name Sansa her new Hand
3. Gilly looks pregnant, but no mention of it. Maybe it's just the actress is in real life but they didn't want to write it into the story?
I am with Floppo that it wasnt actuallyMaise. Maybe that's why it was kept a secret easier.6. Didn't know where the 'Brief Nudity' from the warning at the beginning was going to take place...until Arya took off her gloves. Then it was a classic car wreck; you don't want to watch but you can't look away either. That has to rank as one of the best secrets they were able to keep.
Some of my favorite scenes of the whole show. Hell, maybe my favorite. It was like "here are all your favorite characters*; say goodbye now." Every moment perfect. This kind of episode or chapter or act before the big battle is a staple of storytelling. The warriors tell their stories, sometimes make their peace, and sing their songs.
The fireside scenes were amazing in every way in that context.
Was cgi imoI am with Floppo that it wasnt actuallyMaise. Maybe that's why it was kept a secret easier.
There aren't really any rules when you can kill whoever is on the throne and their family and then declare yourself king, like Robert did. That's the "secret" and why the politics of the Game of Thrones matters so much, having the right name only matters as long as more allies want to support that name than there are enemies who want to supplant it. Whoever is in power could legitimize a ******* under any circumstances. It doesn't really matter how long Robert has been dead, the sitting king or queen can make it official and the Baratheon line lives on. Stannis, who thought himself the rightful king, offered to do it for Jon long after Ned had died.I remember someone posting a while back that Gendry had no claim because he was not an acknowledged *******, and it is too late for him to become one after Robert died. It made me wonder why Joffrey had sought to have all rumored bastards killed, if none had claims. Wish I better understood these rules..
Ok, I posted that I was checking outta this thread until I finished my watch. It was a sincere vow.The night gathers and now my watch beginsOk, I am kinda doing family stuff.
I can post, but won't be able to watch show till later.
I won't be back in this thread until I can finish my watch.
I recommend the same for others who don't wanna be spoiled.
Some of my fav posts are real time reactions.
Have fun - later
