I've been writing recaps for FBG since we started the feature. It's impossible to see every game and having a writer keep track of each game with a fantasy perspective in mind makes for some of our best content.
I made a mistake in my game recap last week and wanted to let folks know what really happened in the SEA @ DET game with regards to Darrell Jackson's playing time.
Before the game Seattle had put the word out that Jackson was going to see about half of the snaps on the field. He played and was targeted on six plays catching five. The Detroit pass rush was significant and kept QB Matt Hasselbeck from getting the ball down field. He completed 25 of 30 in the game, but most were quick dump offs due to the pressure. In actuality, Jackson was on the field for nearly all of Seattle's 61 plays. After the game I filed my report under the impression that the Seahawks had stuck to their game plan with regards to Jackson. It certainly "felt" that way, but I was very wrong.
It was pointed out to me that I had made a mistake. I'll do better in to make sure facts are reported in the future. I appreciate the reader that pointed this out. We want to continue to give you the most accurate information going forward. This is the exact sort of thing that makes our site significant and we want our readers to know we'll provide them with the best information.
