Anybody have an idea on the projected split in carries between Foster & Williams?
I don't know what is worse. Projecting this or guessing how many jelly beans are in the candy jar.I would probably wait this one out this week if I could but if I were between a rock and a hard place, I would go with DeAngelo Williams. He can catch and is probably more favorable than Foster, when considering how Foster has been there for few years and still never ran away with the job.ETA - Yeah, I know Foster can catch but my educated guess is that Williams will see plenty of passing downs.

Thanks Hatter, but I was wondering if anyone had any solid info. Guess Fox is keeping that under wraps.

Nah, sorry, hope all goes well today though.

My guess would be 60/40 given what they have done in the pass. I think we are going to see more screens from Carolina this year, so it will be interesting to see what happens. As for St Louis, I think Jackson is not going to have a huge day, even though I am still starting him in my league. He had his worst game against Carolina last year, and the Panthers are pretty good in the middle with Jenkins and Morgan coming back. Plus, if the Rams are smart, they will attack the deep middle, as the safeties for the Panthers suck. Could be a big game for the receivers and TE.

As Foster has been named the starter and I don't see him having too much trouble getting going against a soft STL run D, I see it 60-40 Foster (maybe even more). Start him with confidence...

Adam Carriker will have something to say about that. The dude is a behemoth 6'6 315 and put togather

No doubt about that as he is a monster, but this is his first game and I don't think his presence is enough to mask the poor LB we have. I don't think we'll be 31st (or whatever it was) v. the run again this year, but I highly doubt we are in the top 67% even.

Good drive by the Panthers, but their running game still looks suspect. Delhomme did a good job of spreading the ball around after targeting Smith in the first part of the drive.

Nice play calling St. Louis. 1st and 10 in the red zone and you revert to your old ways by putting the most overrated QB in the shotgun. There was still 1:50 left and you completely screwed up any chance of a TD.

This is what frustrated me so much in the 1st half of the season last year.

P.S. A little worried that SJAX has zero receptions through the 1st half.

Great return by Hall to CAR 17, right up the wedge and made a nice cut but was caught from behind

Hate to say it but Foster has looked much better than DWill and that fumble will not help him get more carries

I'm watching the game on Sopcast and could not figure out how the hell it was 14-13 on my LiveTracker and 13-7 on my screen ... then I found out.

Damn it.
