You cant predict that. If not for the penalty maybe the Broncos have the ball at the 25 after that play. 20 yards is a big penalty.

After the call was finally made, it looked like BB said "mutha f------, doesn't know what he's talking about". Then again, my lip-reading may be a bit off.

No less than three times the ref made a measurement by spreading his hands out about 18 inches. It looked like Bill kept saying "if we accept the penalty is it a first down?" and the official said "no, you're this far away". Then Belichick seemed to say that he wanted a measurement anyway, and the ref kept signaling how far away he was (acting like he didn't need a measurement).

I saw that too. Damn - all he wanted was a measurement for the 4th and short... seemed reasonable to me.He was asking "where's the ball?" and the idiot ref was pointing to the end of the play.
