  If Indy pulls this out Peyton owes that ref a hummer and owes Cowher a reach around cause Cowher got reamed on that call.

Isn't that basically the same call that cost the Buccaneers the game last week?
It's true though.. .he caught the ball but dropped it when he hit the ground, and some weird NFL rule makes that an incompletion.
I think the rule states you need to stand up and begin your TD dance, with possession of the ball, before it's ruled a score. Some new rule..

I'm eagerly awaiting the statement from the NFL officiating office on Monday saying which calls were right and which calls were wrong.

Yes, but both knees touched, he rolled, both knees touched AGAIN, and then he got up and fumbled. That's a LOT different than if he didn't retain possession before he got up.

No doubt that was clearly a clean interception.. unbelievable...Steelers just need to keep running the ball.. terrible call.. Colts have been outplayed

This really is a sad day for football.. and I WAS rooting for The Colts. But come on. The guy catches the ball, with 2 feet on the ground, falls down, so now the knee and the butt and the other knee hit the ground and throughout all of this he controls the ball. But because he tried to get up and run it's incomplete  :loco:  Could be the biggest disgrace in NFL History if The Colts go on to win this game.Sad, sad day. :(

ohhhh .... so because both knees did not come off of the ground he was still considered "on the ground"? And since the ball came out when he was "on the ground" it isnt a catch, and therefore not an INT?

I wonder if he had picked it off, rolled fourteen times with the ball firmly tucked (without anyone touching him) and then tried to get up and kneed it out, would it still be incomplete?

Wow a bad call that went INDY's way. Now it's even. Let's see if Manning can stop choking now.
Well sure they're even now, give Manning a bone wiht 4 minutes left of the game, now we're even.......Gotta even up the odds somehow, no?
So to even you out, a smart person also registered today?
I actually did, I was looking to vent somewhere, and this is the best place I found... I'm diggin this place.... I'll be here a while, like it or not...You guys will get to know me, and I'm not so bad, I just like to mix it up a lot... :)

Worst call I have ever seen in my life.Second to the non-call on that false-start/offsides debacle just minutes earlier.Unfreakingbelievable. Conspiracy theorists out there...I won't blame you one bit for chattering a little bit about this game.

Amazing how much these ref's can dictate the outcome of a game. BUS TIME :towelwave:
 Like the stillers have never gotten a call

Get over it and maintain SOME dignity

For those calling The Colts cheats.... How is it they cheated?? They didn't make the horrible call.Blame the refs, blame the announcers, blame Tagliblew, but to say The Colts are cheaters because of this is. :loco: :loco:

Yes, this is NE vs Oakland II. The absolute worst call in NFL history. The refs should be fired for this one. There was not conclusive evidence to overturn the the intereception. Horrible call. The NFL has been disgraced

I think this play may be as big as the Pats/Raiders tuck rule call depending on how this game plays out.

Both knees DID come off the ground. Then he rolled again, and they touched again. It wasn't until the SECOND touch that he got up and kneed the ball out of his hands.
