:badposting:Final score... Colts 34, Steelers 20.14-0!!!!!!!!!!

They shouldn't get a flag..... That's like 4 calls that went Pitstains way, no facemask, ended up in a touchdown, no pass interference that ended up in a punt from Indy, and no holding or pass interference at leats 2 other times committed by Pittstain...What a joke! This game has been tainted, typical Pittstain fashion... pfffffttttUm - yeah. No flag. Sure. That's right...![]()

Tooth
idiot # 1!!The Jets beat the Steelers last year - their kicker missing two crucial FGs.That was the AFC Championship.Last year, Pittsburgh. When was the last time a #1 seed got shellacked in the Divisional game???![]()

It was tainted in the 1st quarter, the game would have never been the same afterwards....
Pathetic? Perhpas, but there were 3 critical calls that changed the entire outcome of the game that you can't possibly overlook.
, bleyotch!hahahah, the haters are making my day!!such a bad call roth was stopped steelers are a team of more breaks then any other in history
More money? You are more :11: than origianlly suspected.8 minutes off the clock due to a non existent false start call, how can they possibly have a chance with the BS calls of these BS refs?
It was over in the 1st quarter, the refs made sure of that, I stand by my posts, each and every one of them....
Goes to show, there's a lot more money in Pit than Indy... What a crock! It should be a freakin felony!!!!!!!!!!!
ORLY?]Uh oh.... Ben ALMOST strapped on his INTERCEPTIBERGER jersey there![]()
Game over...Colts win
Are you for real? LMAO at last weeks news Bengals.Rudi J never would have fumbled there.
Manning should have waved Vandy off the field.![]()

I can't believe you don't shuttup! /APU!Pittstain doesn't have a snowballs chance in hell in Denver ( PUN fully intended ), no way, no how...
This was certainly entertaining to say the very least...
But again, the refs win, oh and Pitt gets to play another week...

In a dome?Granted, few are the kickers that are 100 percent on PATs for a career, but THAT was the time for Vandy. No kicker is 100% from 46 yards.
A good offensive coordinator runs the ball there no matter what his QB thinks. That's why the situation with Manning dominating this offense is not the ideal situation.
I know the rules - they can't justify that call. I can see it if a receiver catches the ball, gets both feet down, but then in the process of spinning, loses the ball, but you cannot call a pass incomplete when a player has made a catch, gone down, rolled over TWICE, and then gotten back up. That is a fumble, plain and simple. What the ref was feebly trying to contend was that Polamalu's knee went down, then came back up, only he lost control of the football while the knee was still down, thus making it an incomplete pass. Anyone watching that play can see that this is not even close. He rolled over 2 complete times before getting up AND KNOCKING THE BALL LOOSE WITH HIS KNEE. It was a horrendous overturn and one that really cannot be justified.I echo your sentiments that it's good it did not decide the game. Justice was served, but I still owe that official a shot in the nuts for almost causing me cardiac arrest this afternoon.Guess we will find out what calls were by the book and what calls were missed on Wednesday NFL Network.
I think by the book the INT was INC.I have already stated that I think there will be some announcement about an obscure ruling that makes that the right call. I thought it was a horrible call at the time but then again most people thought the "tuck" rule call was the worst in history at the time.
Evilgrin and others should reserve judgement until the NFL makes an announcement this week. Its just fortunate that Pitt did not lose the game because of that.
Congrats to the Steelers fans.
This makes the way the Pats lost last night (giving the game away with Brady the biggest culprit) even harder to take. The Pats could have been hosting the Steelers next week.
Den/Pitt looks to be a pretty even game. Denver didnt play great overall last night but I thought their D showed a lot of toughness.

Did you know the Tuck Rule when it happened? It is one thing to be a knowledgeable football fan and another to know the NFL rulebook from A to Z. Dont be so arrogant that you think you know EVERYTHING about football. The ref was saying that even though he caught it, went down, rolled over that he still needed to get up with the ball in posession for it to be an interception. As he was getting up his left knee knocked the ball out while his right knee was still on the ground.I know the rules - they can't justify that call. I can see it if a receiver catches the ball, gets both feet down, but then in the process of spinning, loses the ball, but you cannot call a pass incomplete when a player has made a catch, gone down, rolled over TWICE, and then gotten back up. It is SO moronic that I dont think Morelli could have come up with that on his own. That is why I am saying it is some rulebook interpretation thing. So if you intercept a ball and roll 30 yards down field, get up and drop it, that's an incomplete pass, right?
That is the mindless logic Morelli tried using...bad call but justice was served.
The problem is that he never actually got up because his knee never came off the turf. He caught it, fell down, and dropped it. It's one of those cases where it is obvious to everyone that he caught the ball, but I believe strict interpretation of the rule is that it was incomplete.I know the rules - they can't justify that call. I think that is close to how the refs interpreted the rule but if he had completely stayed down and never got up, it would have been an interception. He didnt have to get up to make it an interception so why penalize him for dropping the ball as he is getting up but is not completely off ther ground yet?The problem is that he never actually got up because his knee never came off the turf. John Elway knew how to give the ball to his all-pro RB when he finally got one (T.Davis).He'll eventually be the John Elway of the 2000s, though.
I was typing about how well the Steelers had played and they deserved to win and as I was typing I look up and see some Colt running the ball the other way...I deleted what I wrote and wrote what you see...Just read all 40 pages of this thread. OMG! What the F
Because if someone is touched down the play is over. You have to make a judgement at that time. Technically Polamalu fell down and dropped the ball without ever making a "football move" and then the play ended. I'm not an expert here of course I'm just trying to interprete what happened in a rational manner. The rule I don't get is the one where a receiver can make the catch, have control, touch both feet in, fall out of bounds, hit the ground, drop the ball, and somehow it's not a catchI think that is close to how the refs interpreted the rule but if he had completely stayed down and never got up, it would have been an interception. He didnt have to get up to make it an interception so why penalize him for dropping the ball as he is getting up but is not completely off ther ground yet?The problem is that he never actually got up because his knee never came off the turf. Hey, take it easy on Norwide. AT LEAST he had bit of wind to deal with outside, Vandy was kicking inside on carpet, AND he's run his mouth for years!Vandy is clearly a graduate of Scott Norwood's school of mental toughness, racks all kinds of garbage points but can't hit a big kick.
Did this guy ever get calmed down and turn the game back on?Please keep us posted. This is the exact reason i hate fotball the refs control the outcome of the game too much. They need to make the right calls, and shouldnb't worry about keeping the human element in the game. The refs should have paused the game went and checked the replay and made the right call the fanaca flinched. I have shut off my Tv until I can calm down further
