What happened to Green in the second half. Dayne was getting way too many carries for my liking.

The Texans had the game in hand and were just controlling the clock while giving their veteran starter rest and prevent possible injuries. I doubt Dayne gets that much work in a closer game.

how was jacoby looking? saw he got a lot of touches, 3 catches, 1 run and 4 PR. Though was surprised to see such a low ypc.

Yes. This was totally expected. Herminator destroys offenses. Have fun with Larry Johnson. He's not going to be good with a weak OL and no passing game. One of the worst teams in the league as I had predicted.

Imagine how bad that OL would look with Carr as the QB. Andre Johnson with an NFL caliber QB for the 1st time in his career is off to a great start.

I took Houston in 3 different Suicide pools this week and people thought I was NUTS. Houston was my best bet of the day.I know it is editing but if you have watched HBO's "Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the KC Chiefs" at all, you would know that they are going to be a disaster.LJ holds out. They lose more OL. Their QB "battle" is a disaster with Croyle giving the job back to Huard with his 3 for 14 showing in the 3rd preseason game. Revolving door at WR with undrafted free agent arena league players making the team.Two undrafted free agent DB's make the team. Their best DL and arguably best defensive player is missing the first 2 games due to 2 offseason DUI's.I've never been a Herm fan but his screaming in the locker room about how he did a terrible coaching job in a pre-season game but he would "Get it fixed!" was comical.This is a 4 win team and I have been saying it from the beginning.

I'm with ya brother. People think that since Houston has always been horrible with Carr, that they will continue to be horrible without him. But when you remove the problem, you can win. Schaub sacked 2 times. If carr was in there, many completions would have been carr running for 3 yards out of bounds and then a punt.Now the problem with KC is Herminator but they will have to suffer for another 2+ years. THey are actually worse than I thought. Score 17 and you beat them. They are that bad.

I really think KC has the potential to be the lowest scoring team in the history of the NFL. Only 3 points today and I think they had les than 40 pts in the pre-season. This is a terrible offensive team. They will put Croyle in by week 6 and the offense will be even worse.

Nice addition by the Texans with Schaub over Carr. Glad they pulled the plugged. Night and day as far as decision making.
I don't even think Carr's a particularly good backup either. Hope for the Panthers sake if Jake fails, they quickly look to get a new starting QB (vs. believing Carr's an answer). The guy rolls out of the pocket way too much (for absolutely no reason). Does absolutely no favors for his O-line whatsoever. (between his constant rolling out and slow decision making)whatsoever. Probably the NFL equivalent to Rob Johnson.
Don't expect the Huard experiment to last but a couple more weeks. I don't expect the Croyle tenure to last in KC beyond this year if he doesn't flash something in action. I think they'll dip into the FA pool or draft their next QB.
