Who is doing a worse job tonight - Favre or Childress?
Childress is just being the same, the only difference is Favre hasn't been able to cover for him so I'll say Favre.
So basically Childress is terrible most games, but his team is so talented nobody can tell? It's interesting that in two of the biggest games this season (Pittsburgh, Arizona) Favre has been horrible.
It's interesting that you forgot to mention how Favre did in two other big games this year against Green Bay...a team with a better record than Pittsburgh. You may also want to look up how Favre did against Baltimore this year.

The way his leg flopped around like that reminded me a lot of Ed McCaffrey's broken leg back in 01. Just hanging on by the skin it looked like, man that was awful.

Didn't watch the replay because I don't need to see carnage like that. All the best to EJ.

That said, Favre exposed+Def injuries=Vikes done.

This game killed me. In one league I needed Fitz to score under 20 to win a $200 bonus for regular season winner. Gone. In my other league I had MIN and an 18-point lead vs Q (and I started Palmer over Warner). Doh.

As if a loss weren't bad enough, but with the sheer number of injuries that are piling up, (and with the seriousness of E.J.'s) this is a pretty bad day for the Vikings and fans.

That looked so bad, I couldnt tell if it was his knee or foot or leg that shattered. Glad his brother Erin is there to help him get through this. Two of my favorite players from Maryland. Amazing LB's in college. Best of luck to you EJ. Hope you can get back by the beginning of next season. You are one tough mofo!

Favre exposed? Are some of you serious?

Look, some here would label me a Favre hater...but one bad game against a pretty good team is not exposing anything at this point.

Might make the Vikings regroup and realize they can't throw the ball 40-50 times a game though.

Arizona's defense is not good.

Not sure if it was discussed, but Tony Boselli was on the radio broadcast earlier and pointed out that McKinney was putting his left foot way back before the snap when he was preparing to pass block. He thought that Arizona had picked up on that and basically knew every time that the Vikings were going to run. I just got back a little while ago so I missed a lot of it but the radio announcers also mentioned that the Vikes were playing a lot more safety zone underneath to slow down Favre - very similar to what the Saints did with Brady to scare him off the underneath stuff.

#######it...i was doing just fine w/ a comfy lead vs. Harvin and Rice/Balt D tomorrow and then he gets a garbage td at the end. ####!!!!!!!!
