***Game Thread*** NY Giants at Dallas (-8.5) (54) (1 Viewer)

For such an ugly looking injury it did not look like he was in a lot of pain when it first happened.
I had a very serious ankle break in high school, eerily similar to Dak's injury - to the point where multiple people have texted me in the past few minutes about his injury looked the same as mine.  I can tell you that when it happened, I didn't even realize it, and tried to stand up, before reaching down to my ankle and realizing that my foot is not at the bottom of my leg where it's supposed to be.  It's like a feeling of shock and adrenaline immediately.  The "oh ####" moment didn't set in for ~5 seconds.

Not really. He's a bit of a turnover machine with a fatal flaw of being unable to sense pressure. He needs to resolve that bigtime.
He had several plays in this game where he did exactly that & found open receivers.

its a mixed bag.

Trust me, this is a rare instance this season of him somewhat consistently feeling it coming.
I’ve seen a lot of him. I think he has a better future ahead. Needs a year with a healthy team around him. He hasn’t had anything resembling that. And 1st year Garrett. Im holding off judgement until after next year.

wow Jim literally sucking off Dallas with these calls. Funny how Romo seems the most objective of the crew

Did his knee come down OOB before two feet did? That's the only issue.

EDIT: Catch. Well that's game.

Wobbly Kick, looked like it was going Wide Right, sneaks that ball in there

Gritty performance by Dallas after a devastating injury.

Dalton Era begins Now!

Now that the Boys "lost" their weak link on offense, they might be able to do something this season.

Sucks for him, but the Dak injury is the best thing to happen to the franchise. Can finally put an end to the charade he's a high end QB talent

While fans and I'm sure the players are mourning over Dak, give credit to Dallas for not folding, at least not yet. If they were to win this game, it won't heal the wounds from the Dak injury today but it would likely put them in 1st place.

I think Andy Dalton can function with this many weapons and a stud RB and a somewhat solid OL, you never know. He has tons of experience and if they can get off the field and circle the wagons, they might actually be able to salvage the season.

This isn't Cincinnati GD, it's Dallas!
Oline is junk

Classy.

Dalton made some good throws. Let's see how he does versus a good defense. Neither Dak nor Dalton are signed for 2021.

Hopefully they try to get back to running the ball more
Looked that way - I thought they were a little too pass happy this year. I’m a Zeke owner, so clearly biased, but they really were too pass happy. Led to a lot of bad clock management, and too many 3 & outs.

They just said it was a compound fracture.

so now we’re in Alex Smith/Theisman territory.  Cross your fingers for Dak.  This is a really difficult injury. Hopefully surgery goes well with no complications.
