Game Thread W 4- Seahawks v Bears (1 Viewer)

Will Seahawks fans claim that the refs gave the game to the Bears (like they did after the Super Bowl loss to Pittsburgh)????
No need to be a tool. Many Seahawk fans have chimed in an tipped their cap to the Bears for a well played game. I hope you would have done the same if the situation were reversed.

A revolting display from the Seahawks (as well as from GI Assassin). Only one team showed up tonight, I don't think their 2 weeks off will be much fun. That said, we got our crap game out of the way as well as just faced our toughest opponent. We seem to respond well after bad games and wouldn't expect to lay another egg like this again, especially since there are few Ds like this out there.

GG Bears, we'll see you in January.

LOL... don't you know the Super Bowl loser doesn't play beyond Week 17. I hope the Seahags enjoy their four hour flight home and 14 days to ponder this ###-whoopin'.revolting display of ignorance by 'mad sweeney' if you ask me.

Are you lower GI ### or upper GI ###??? You're acting like both. This bears team is young on the offensive side of the ball. Go ahead, eat it up, it may be all you get. If you wind up in Seattle in the post season your done! Pure and simple. Win games bears, its the ONLY way you'll get home field advantage and make it to the show.

Don't be a hater man... your team had an opportunity to prove that they were the best in the NFC and failed. Failed miserably as a matter of fact. The Bears have already proven they can win on the road twice this season, and once in a dome against their only legit competition in the NFC North. I sincerely hope you and all other Seahawks fans are given another opportunity to boast about your team, who's ONLY way to make it to the Super Bowl was home field advantage last year. Pure and simply. And actually, the Bears team is OLD on the offensive side of the ball, not young. Moose and the O-Line are ancient by NFL standards. Not the case on the defensive side of the ball whatsoever.

When I say young on offense I mean at QB, young QB's don't fair well in the playoffs. So enjoy bears fans, you were better than us by a long shot today. Unfortunately winning in week 4 does not consistute a super bowl win. Kicking ### in the playoffs does. Hopefully, we'll see you again there. Bears have a cake walk from here on out. Better make the best of it, or the seahawks will kick ur ### in the playoffs.

I think you two make a great couple.

Wow, what insight, winning games is how you get home field advantage, and make it to the show. That's good stuff right there, post of the year maybe. :lmao:

I'm going to just go ahead and assume you're drunk, and will show up in this thread tommorow embarassed about the way you're acting.
Drunk? Nope.Hungover? Nope.Proud of my Chicago Bears whooping up on the Seahawks? YesRex Grossman is in his fourth season too, so that's not 'young' by NFL standards. A bit inexperienced? Yes.Was I being a bit of a sore winner last night? Sure.Did Seahawks fans take exception and post some nonsense? Sure.Is it time to move on to the next game? Yes.Later Seahawks fans, we'll see you next year maybe.

In early January? I hope so, but let's do this one in Seattle next time...please.

am I the only one who thinks that every time Bensen touches the ball that the Seahawks' defense suddenly looks like the Bears' defense?

He's got like a .5 ypc and he's jawing on that last run like he's done something. What a putz!
Why do I think you're not being objective?LINK

Yeah, that's the search for "Bensen" from your posts.
 you really are a jerk aren't you. once again you're making me wonder why you're on the fbg staff.
Don't circumvent the language filter. It works ####### fine. See?Jerk? The dude is just spewing more of his previous bias. I've only watched a few carries from each tonight and thought Benson ran hard and I had doubts about Jones. Anyone who talks in such outrageous hyperbole has harsh bias that does nothing to further discussion I searched his posts for "Bensen".

That's being a jerk? If I wanted to be a jerk I would have sunk to calling you names. Who's the jerk?
 sorry, i didn't make it through all that before falling asleep. wanna PM me again and give me the readers digest?
C'mon now.... it takes 12 defenders to shut down the mighty Benson. ;)
I am so utterly baffled by this retaliation to an opinion I expressed over feeling like Bensen shouldn't trash talk when he hasn't accomplished anything that I don't even know how to respond.I am spewing previous bias. When have I been biased? What was I spewing? Did you read the posts where I spoke about Bensen? I usually say something like I think he has a ton of talent, but he may not get a chance to show it in Chicago with TJ in the way. Look at my signature and you'll see that I have him in my money league.

My point was that Seattle seemed to be coming harder when Bensen was out there rather than being tentative and on their heels when TJ was on the field.

I cannot for the life of me figure out how that fairly innocuous comment turned into "outrageous hyperbole and harsh bias." And how because of it I somehow can't add anything to this board. What did you want added? I thought we were here to add comments, thoughts and opinions, which is what I thought I did.

However, if comments are going to garner attack by the moderator, and I have to use that term very loosely here, then I guess I can't add anything.

Awesome. Yes, you're being a sore winner. That's ok, though, it feels good when your team wins. I've already moved onto the next game, as this is a regular season game (game 4, btw) and there's a whole lot of football to be played before they count. Would I have liked to see us win this game? Absolutely. Is it a "see you next year maybe" sort of game? Nope. You do whatever you need to feel good about yourself though.
Just good natured ribbing ....I'm glad that Ray Rhodes is OK too btw. I heard the Seahawks had to stop in South Dakota. Good time for a bye week for the Seabirds.

You were right. I was wrong.I was reading what I wanted to see, not what was really there. My apologies. Sorry it took so long for me to realize this.
