Outstanding finish to last season, terrific preseason (save losing the rookie RB). Amazing how high the expectations are; I can't remember the last time there was such widespread interest in Detroit. Great young talent, going up against another very good young team.

Where was the Stafford we saw last year and in the preseason? His accuracy has just been awful in this game. That first drive ended when he overthrew an easy 2 yard out on 3rd and goal and just now another simple 1 yard out on 3rd and 3 is overthrown and tipped, then picked off and taken to the house.

Perhaps, but he also just overthrew a completely uncovered Calvin Johnson (busted coverage) on a simple 15 yard throw.Lions would be up 17-3 in this game (instead of trailing 10-6) if he'd hit these deadly simple throws.ETA: <----Frustrated gambler :hot:

The ridiculously easy ones are the hardest ones to make.
 
Detroit is basically dominating this game and trying their hardest to keep the score close. Drops, stupid penalties, missing wide open guys in the EZ.

 
Detroit's secondary and OL, their two assumed weaknesses, have looked pretty good so far. I really thought their secondary was in good shape, but have been pleasantly surprised by the offensive line, at least for pass protection. She not much in the run blocking area.
