Game Thread W1 - Kansas City V New England (1 Viewer)

Pats can't cover Tony G

I haven't even noticed who is playing opposite Bowe almost like why bother putting a WR in

I liked O'Connell better than Cassell in preseason. Cassell looks OK though

I guess I can't downgrade Moss yet.
Moss always seems to do well with backup QBs.1. Moss is so good.2. A backup QB may not be in as much of a flow with the total offense or as talented as the starter, but it's hard for them to go wrong throwing it up to Moss.3. Because of #2 the backup QB can develop tunnel vision causing Moss's targets to go up with the backup compared to the starter.

So, how bad does Brodie Croyle suck?
3 drops by Bowe another by Charles
Croyle looks better than when I saw him last year. For a not so muscle bound guy, wow does he have an arm. I think that everytime I see him.Announcers are right that he looks terrific on the run. Herm's gotta have him roll out often then.Chiefs can't run and keep trying leaving Croyle in tough spots. He's gotta throw to someone other than Tony G and Bowe though.

3 good points.I'm staying optimistic on this.

what he saidplus I don't think Cassell's so nervous. It might be like week 5 of the preseason to him. If Brady's out, we'll see if nerves set in preparing to be the starter and thinking about it all week.

I'm wishing I never would have read anything indicating that the Pats were not happy with Cassell. That information caused me to drop him. :lmao:

Nice balanced run/pass drive there by the Pats. That's what they'll need to do if Brady's down for any length of time beyond this game.

Brady or not, this game is pretty one-sided. A couple of fluke fumbles by Welker and Moss in KC territory away from this being a total blowout.
