I was curious to see if Rogers was really hurt, or just taking preseason off because he's a star.Obviously it was the latter, and he showed he has every right to never have to play a preseason down again.One of the more underrated players in the league because the Lions are always so awful.
I understand where you are comming from. They do need to start winning, however they looked "GREAT" on defense. The Lions haven't looked "GREAT" at anything over the last few years. So we have something to be excited about... Right? I mean at least if they keep it up they will be a lot more competitive this year!!!The Chicago Bears prooved that last year. They prooved that defense can win the division and get you a bye in the playoffs. Not saying that the Lions will do any of that, but it's a start.

Kid is a play maker. There has to be another reason he doesn't see more targets. He was injured in the preseason, but seems healthy now. Perhaps he's not a role model practice player? I have no idea. However, he's consistently impressed me over and over. I keep saying the same thing with regard to Burleson. I hope he can contribute, but I don't see it so far.
