Game Thread W10 - NY Jets V New England (1 Viewer)

Brady hit by Shaun Ellis as he threw. Fumble, game over.

I thought it was incomplete oh no arm was still coming up. Good call

I  Mangini.
:goodposting: What a difference in coaching.... WOW, they change things that aren't working. They take advantage of opponents weaknesses and injuries. The Offensive line had about as good a day as I could remember.... This unit looks real good..

What a freaking sore loser Belichick is. It's not as if they didn't get several calls during the game to help keep them in it. Then you can't even congratulate a guy properly for bringing his team to play. For all of the Belichick worship and ### kissing, he sure didn't show any class there.

It's becoming very apparant that the Pats are seriously lacking playmakers on both sides of the ball. They just don't have the guys to step up and make the big play in crunchtime. That was the situation last year and it's even worse this year. Also, I'm getting pretty tired of their playcalling. It's jusy shoddy. There's just too many plays that accomplish nothing.

Good effort by the Jets. Mangini outcoached BB today and they made plays when they had to.

:goodposting: Belichick has won so much over the past few years, that I think a lot of people forget that the guy is a jerk and a very big sore loser.

I'm assuming his stint in Cleveland would have provided us with some good examples?I'm not surprised about the non-handshake...no love lost there. Bellichick won't even say Mangini's name. That's bordering on pathological hatred. Pretty lame Bill.

Gaffney did real well after the Gabriel fumble and seemed to stay in and I don't recall seeing Gabriel after that. Do you think he just edged Gabriel out for his playing time next week?

I'd be curious how many SD homers were saying "Who was that?" when Reche was catching the ball today

Man, was I stunned to see this final score! Some things make you scratch your head.

BB is a terrific coach. But, yes, he is a sore loser.

For all of the Jets RB woes, they stand a chance to overtake the Pats this year. A slim chance, but wow!

I really think them letting Branch go was huge. I have been saying this all along so it's not hindsight.

Anyway, a strange day no less.

Big win by the Jets. The Pats seemed a step slow on offense, defense and special teams. They have a lot of work to do this week.

The Jets actually have a shot at the AFC East. They are 3-1 in division games (Pats are 4-1), so if they beat Buffalo and Miami, they would be strong in at least that tiebreaker. Beside Chicago (who NE also has to play) - their schedule is not that difficult:

11 Sun, Nov 19 Chicago Tickets FOX 1:00 PM

12 Sun, Nov 26 Houston Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

13 Sun, Dec 3 at Green Bay Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

14 Sun, Dec 10 Buffalo Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

15 Sun, Dec 17 at Minnesota Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

16 Mon, Dec 25 at Miami Tickets ESPN 8:30 PM

17 Sun, Dec 31 Oakland Tickets CBS 1:00 PM
NE's Schedule:
11 Sun, Nov 19 at Green Bay Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

12 Sun, Nov 26 Chicago Tickets FOX 1:00 PM

13 Sun, Dec 3 Detroit Tickets FOX 1:00 PM

14 Sun, Dec 10 at Miami Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

15 Sun, Dec 17 Houston Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

16 Sun, Dec 24 at Jacksonville Tickets CBS 1:00 PM

17 Sun, Dec 31 at Tennessee Tickets CBS 1:00 PM
Both teams has lost all of their games to AFC opponents, so both are weak in the conference tiebreakers.Miami has a really good chance to determine the AFC East winner (as you can see by the bolded games).
