Game Thread W11 - Houston V NY Jets (1 Viewer)

I can't remember seeing a pass defense worse than this one.
Now I have to see that weekly dump from that dude who is obsessed with posting the stastical fact that the Texans Pass defense is really THAT bad.Go figure, they even had a pulse this week, but at end of the day they are who we thought they were (bang the microphone and walk off to go have a jack and coke)

Jets should have let them score on 1st down. They would have had 1:50 and 2 time outs as opposed to 0:49 and no time outs. Even with the field goal, they need a touchdown.
But a touchdown wins the game if you hold them to a field goal. If you let them score, even if you get a touchdown, you still have, at best, a 25% chance of winning the game. You need to get a 2-point conversion, which is more likely to fail than succeed for most teams. And then you need to win in OT, which is a coin flip. Unless you think you're 4 times more likely to score a TD with 1:50 and 2 TOs than with 0:49 and no TOs -- which is perhaps a reasonable assumption -- then I don't think you let them score.

Jets can't get much luckier. How a WR gets behind the DB with 24 seconds left is beyond me
This team is going to be a bettors dream in the playoffs. No way they cover a spread against any team in the AFC come playoff time.
Exactly what people said last year on the Road Vs Cincy and SD.We'll see, this team has a lot of growing up to do but, along the way, these wins could only be good for a young QB like Sanchez.Jets are playing some fired up teams IMO - Houston D was relentless... Super Mario was as advertised and still my favorite player of that draft (see avatar).. I so hoped Mario was going to be a J E T.

Not to mention that the Jets dominated the Patriots in week 2. A lot of people seem to be ignoring that fact.

That was a LONG time ago.
