Game Thread W11 - New England V Buffalo (1 Viewer)

OK the game is over now. The Patriots do not have to sit on the ball in the 2nd half, but if they come out throwing on 1st down in a shotgun position, then they ARE trying to run up the score, and they take whatever criticism or risk that comes with it.
If they do I hope the Pat fans have cleared out of the stadium or it will get ugly.
I agree those Bills fans better watch their backs

Non Patriot fan here. I've gone from annoyed to hate and all the way back around to officially cheering for them to totally rewrite the record book. 60+ TD passes for Brady. 25 TD catches for Moss. An undefeated season. I would like to see Brady totally put the "greatest QB ever" argument to bed for at least the next 15 years. I don't care who you are, this is AWESOME to watch.
LOL, you actually think Bills fans think that?

People need to get over the running it up whine.

The Pats are not playing against the Bills. They are playing against history. They are playing for the SB.

They treat these games like it's the SB, and they are losing. When they score another TD, it's not against the Bills. It's a TD to win the SB. They work every situation, knowing it will come up in the playoffs. Like calling a TO to get Moss on the field. The Pats don't give two ####s about the Bills. They're praticing for the SB.

So yes, they're going to put up more TDs. They're going to put Brady in the shotgun. But it has little to do with the Bills or the score. They play every position like it the last. And this all started when they let up on the Colts last year. The team got a big lead, and they let the Colts back in the game. And ever since, the Pats haven't taken the foot off the gas even for a second. When they're up 5tds, it becomes practice for the Colts, Cowboys, Packers, Steelers.

Sit back and enjoy the Pats play "practice" for the SB.

BTW, I just got beat, as my opponent has Brady/Moss....
Mine does too but I'm up 90, so I'm safe... right?
:unsure:Now only up 36. Brady+Moss+Gost = 59 so far.
:wall: :hot: :no:Now only up 12. Brady+Moss+Gost = 83 so far.Unbelievable, I'm never going to hear the end of this from the Pats fan about to beat me in this league.
I would have to say I'd be livid if that was happening to me.I'm in my own dogfight. I was tied with my opponent, both of us with only 1 player left. He has Dante Stallworth and I have Ben Watson. I've got him by 2 points now but a 15 yard pass to Stallworth and we're tied. Shut that offense down, practice your running game!
"Thats Fantasy Football" :hot:Seen some crazy stuff over the years. But I did really need that win though. :lmao:Heading to bed so I don't have to see #5 to beat me.

How does Colinsworth sit there week after week with Costas and Oberman without reaching across the desk and smacking both? My God.

I don't expect the Pats in all honosty to stop playing. It's halftime, at the very least they're going to practice coming out of a half and executing a drive. They didn't play last week so I'm sure they'd like to do that. If it gets to 42 to 7 and it's closer to the end of the 3rd quarter, I'm sure we'll see some backups in then but I'd be surprised if we don't see another Brady TD.
:lmao:

The NFL record for most TD passes in a game is 7. Most TD receptions in a game is 5. Will they try to put another couple in the book?

From 1953 until 1995, the Generals played kayfabe exhibitions against the Globetrotters, winning only six games, the last in 1971, and losing more than 13,000
Kayfabe = fake. It was all scripted.
Among the players who have been Globetrotters are NBA greats Wilt "The Stilt" Chamberlain, Connie "The Hawk" Hawkins
:lmao:
Ahh, so then it HAD to be real.[/sarcasm]Face it, you've been duped.
Wait a minute........What?

I drafted Brady, Maroney, and the Patriots D this year. I actually thought long and hard about Moss too but passed because I didn't want to overload with Patriots. DOH. Still I have Holt and AJ and this season has been a blast! :lmao:

In all seriousness (sort of)... if you're a Pats fan, are you just a little worried about them keeping Brady in, in a blowout, against the very same team whose starting QB the Pats injured on a very questionable hit just a few weeks ago?

Not tonight they probably don't. But they'll talk about it and remember it for years.

just out of curiosity, is Maroney banging BB's daughter or something? Seriously the guy has seen no action at all, just wondering. No one cares, I only need another TD from either BB's future son in law or Brady and I'll have the win wrapped up this week but really, what gives? Did he f*** Brady in the #### on the last flight or what? Maroney must have done something to deservse this.

If Evans goes out, does Bobby Bouce get a look?

If Madden could only talk about Brady or Favre for the rest of his announcing career, who would he pick?

At this point Im thinking Brady, but only because of his "dynasty value". In a "redraft" I think it would be pretty close...

All the moss/brady owners are going to be hurting in the playoffs since more than likely Moss/brady will be resting.
Not likely. Pats wont be resting guys until the bye week before the playoffs. They want the undefeated season....BAD.
Yup. I'm hoping the Patriots don't lose because as soon as they lose that first game, they'll be benching Brady and co in the fantasy playoffs.

:sadbanana: Good to have you on board.
Have you seen my KG thread in the FFA? I think I need to move to Boston. My two favorite athletes of the last 10 years or so go to Boston and just TEAR it up.

Damn that killed me. COuld have kicked it, I have SG, instead they pass, and my opp has Watson.

I just dont get what BB is trying to prove? They are onv the best team..maybe ever at this point. Why not just kick it?
