Game Thread W11 - New Orleans V Houston (1 Viewer)

Do they close the roof at Reliant Stadium if there's a chance of rain?
Roof Closed Today
I never understand why they dont make teams play in the humidity here in Houston. Although I know it would have no affect on NO being the the weather is about the same there but other team would surely have a problem with it.
I wonder if it's more for the fan's comfort?Rough start for Houston ... 2 fumbles after the catch, 1 lost, resulting in a NO FG. Poor starting field position after that kickoff ... c'mon Schaub to AJ!!

I think Jason David is going down as the most toasted corner in the history of the NFL next to Ralph Brown.
Fred Thomas got burnt a lot at that corner also last year. They might want to think about adjusting the defense to help out on that side.

What the hell is Fox trying to do here? There have been at least four times where Fox has a camera on Sean Payton while he's calling the plays...and it's from an "upper" camera, so that he can be seen over that big placecard that he uses.

Bump on Colston. Don't have the game, so wondering if he will be playing the second half for me or if it was a bad injury. Hopefully, nothing major and he can come back.

Colston was injured on the last play .. so says NFL...

asking the people who are watching the game -- if he walked off .. and or what kind of injury it was

and no one seems to be able to answer

I changed the channel at the break, and when I got back it was already over.

He walked off. Possibly tweaked his lower leg (knee or ankle), but it didn't look terribly serious. Probably just got knocked around a bit.

Did they change the definition of pass interference recently? Because what the Texans just did was a text book case of how PI was defined at the start of the season.

Especially when you compare it to the little ticky tack offensive PI they called on a Colston first down catch. No excuses though. Payton's play calling sucks. He almost never goes deep so the defense has nothing to do but key on the short passing game and running game.

This is actually how I thought the Saints would look LAST year, and slowly build the program. This team has clearly taken two steps backward.
