Game Thread W11 - Oakland V Kansas City (1 Viewer)

Samie Parker makes a nice 16 yard catch on 3rd and 10.

KC has 1st and Goal from the 9 at the 2 minute warning. Hand off to LJ and he runs for 9. It'll go to the booth whether or not he got in.

1st and Goal from the 9, LJ got wrapped up at about the 5 and powered forward, carrying 2 Raiders with him. They pulled him down as he extended for the TD. He came up a yard shy. Initial ruling on the field was a TD, but it was a late call. Booth had auto-review.

Made it on 2nd and Goal from the 1.

They spotted the ball at the 2, yet gave Johnson credit for an 8 yard run. :loco:

So, instead of 1 run for 9 yards, he just got credit for 2 runs for 10 yards.

Not that I'm complaining because it just gave me .5 more points than I would have had otherwise. :D

LJ gets jacked up behind the line of scrimmage every f'ing play.

Knock on wood but the dude is going to take a nasty hit sooner or later after his garbage OL allows every linebacker to run through untouched.

Brooks hits Curry for 40 yards, 1st and Goal from the 8 with 30 seconds left for Oakland, down 17-13 they'll have to go endzone.

Brooks had to buy some time, Moss gave up running just as Brooks thought he'd get open. Brooks threw to where Brooks should have been, but it missed him by 3 yards, and the KC defender stepped in front to grab it. By the time the ball got to the end zone, it looked like Moss was just jogging with his arms at his side. Never made a play for it once Brooks locked on him.

are you serious? Your can read that much into it? How many receivers in the NFL continue to work the back of the end zone? Brooks was under no pressure and had a wide open check down in the RB open but tried to force it and didn't even put it up high to give his receiver a chance.

Chiefs are the luckiest team I have seen this season in winning this game.

A performance like this on Thursday and KC will gets their rear kicked by 28

It might be true that KC plays up and down to their competition. They barely beat Arizona and Oakland but beat San Diego and play Denver real tough.

And the Broncos didn't exactly roll over these very same Raiders.

I expect a win on Thursday.
