Game Thread W12 - Pittsburgh V Baltimore (1 Viewer)

I've been waitin' all day for Sunday night.
 I've been looking forward to this game more than any game this season. Not sure if it's just the intrigue of seeing how good this Dixon kid is or if it's the fact that we're playing the Ravens. Talk about pressure..........first NFL start on national TV on the road against the Ravens. Oh yeah.......and he just officially named the started yesterday..................... :lmao:

Obviously, I'm a huge Oregon :homer: , but...Dixon has an EXCELLENT touch on the deep ball. I am very, very excited to see the best Duck QB in memory get a shot. He can pass out of the pocket as well as extend plays w/ his legs and passes on the run very well. He's been in the system for a couple of years now, so he should know the offense well. Granted, Ed Reed and Ray Lewis is not exactly how you want your first start, but this Baltimore Def is NOT the 2000 defense. I think Miller and Ward are both going to be great starts this week.I really think he surprises you guys, in a good way.

About what I expected from the Stillers game plan wise so far; Dixon has looked like a good game manager through the first.

As much as I loathe Carey Davis....I hope every member of the Steelers coverage team saw how he actually tackled a guy on a return, after he'd gained a little yardage, and took note for future kick returns.

What happened to Todd Heap? With Polamalu out, I figure the middle of the field would be ripe, but I haven't seen a toss thrown his way yet, or to any TE.

I'm amazed at how much weight Dixon's put on his legs. At Oregon, he had the skinniest legs I had ever seen on a QB. Looked like pencils.
