But I still can't say that I'm disappointed in tonight's game. Dixon's played well tonight for a guy who was a 5th round pick and had 1 pass attempt before tonight.

They took the Ravens to OT on the road without Ben, Kemo, Polamalu, and and Smith.

It'll be a big win for the Ravens if they can finish it off.

Oh, I'm well aware of that call. It was one of the worst in a long time. Gotta look at the body of work. Even the great QBs have thrown bad INTs in big situations.Anyway, I feel for Dixon. As a Rice owner this is getting me a couple more points, but bummer for Dixon. Almost won his first ever game, in prime time.

I think Dixon did well. I really feel for him, though. Proud to be a Duck though!

Although, he did miss Miller WIDE open on the previous 3rd down. Games over if he sees him.

oh well, he can learn and grow from this. Someone, sometime, has to give the kid a shot to play QB.

Why didn't they sign Garcia?

They brought in Bouman and Ramsey for workouts early in the week, but Ben made it through practices all week and they didn't think they needed to sign anyone. It was late in the week that Ben was getting headaches after workouts, and by then it was too late.So not only did Dixon have no experience, he didn't get many practice reps this week either.I'm satisfied that they even were able to give the Ravens a game tonight missing their starting QB, best offensive lineman, and best defensive player.

I'm not saying I think it was the right call. It's just the only reason I can come up with that they didn't use Dixon's legs more, especially after his long run early in the game that got called back.

Fun game. Dixon was great in the first half, but terrible in the second half. The soft zone and making him go through progressions killed him. He's not ready for the NFL, yet, although he has a nice arm and can handle blitzes wonderfully.I think Arians should have run the ball and made Baltimore beat them. Flacco has taken so many sacks tonight, another series or two and he would've coughed it up.Rice remains a stud.
