Game Thread W13 - Atlanta V Washington (1 Viewer)

you're down 10 with 10 minutes left...defense has stopped nothing and you're punting? Go back to Nascar Joe.

nevermind...just sore after a hit. Initially, it didn't look too good as he was holding the back of his right hammy.

Schaub is coming in for now.

Jason just needs to get me a TD here and then I won't regret starting him.

It's not every game that you get to see over 400 combined rushing yards. Is this Tom Osborne vs. Barry Switzer?

GJ Falcons, even though the receivers dropped the balls they played well enough today & the defense finally stepped up.

Was at the game today and had a couple of observations:

- Washington had no answer for Vicks rushing, he ran all over the Washington D when he had the chance.

- The Washington offense play calling is a joke. The last quarter was awful, I am beginning to realize that Brunell (while he is not a long term solution) was not the main reason for the offensive woes because the offense continued to do the short passes when they should have been thinking about the deep ball. Also the Redskins clock management was horrible which is the MO of Gibbs.

- The first quarter was awesome for Washington, they came out of the gate early and dominated all aspects of the game. Unfortunately that only lasted for a quarter and they went back to their inefficient offense. Still Skins fans got a taste of what the offense could acheive.

- In the first quarter Moss was targeted a lot and was involved in the passing game, after that quarter he disappeared until late in the 4th. Its amazing how much better the offsense does when it involves Moss.

- Dropped passes on both sides, Vick was clearly frustrated in his receivers but some of his passes seemed to be hard to catch. Cooley had his fair share of drops as well.

- Norwood = SPEED. As a dynasty owner of Norwood, I was pleased at what I saw. I knew he was fast but it was great to see him in action. He turned on the jets on his long TD and made some great moves to get into the endzone. Everyone around me was impressed.

- Campbell showed flashes of brilliance in the first quarter but really looked like a rookie in the rest of the game, I look forward to see how Campbell progresses.

- The skins fans were clearly not happy with the offense, Saunders was booed on several different occasions.

- When Vick went down, a guy behind me started to cheer and clap as Vick laid on the ground. Everyone was giving him the mean looks and one other guy piped up and said Shutup jackass your not in Philly :lmao:
